Do you think that Flambae was a Mecha Man Astral fan when he was a kid?
I always thought the child on the cover of Issue #4 was child Robert???
I thought there was something to be said about the fact that he owned an action figure of his own father. Like that Robbie was so disconnected from his own son that Robert had no idea who he was as a person. Like he didn't really have a father to look up to, he had a faceless, detached superhero.
Also I honestly thought that Robert was canonically asian this entire time ToT
BUT ALAS, this is probably just a random child.
Robert as a pixie cut fem with PCOS... ! ! !
AU where Prism is an extremely famous and wildly talented contralto in the Victorian era. She's still best friends with Flambae, who is a wildly untalented and frankly infamous bass with an incredible distain for Prism's lead sponsor, Robert Robertson.
If I were to change one thing about Dispatch, I would make Robert Robertson shorter. That man needs to be 5' 5 3/4" MAX.
Would you kill me if I said these photos have the same vibe...
Another year, another poorly made gif of my current fav. I'm kinda obsessed with making these. Might make more lol.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about that one time Phenomaman made love to Waterboy.
I'm going to start making up silly Dispatch AUs
AU where Robert is a phlebotomist and Waterboy tries to donate blood but his powers make his blood super thin, so after Robert draws his blood he just keeps bleeding and passes out on the bed-seat thing. Robert is the first thing Waterboy sees when he comes to and he falls in love. For some reason.
Season 2 of Dispatch but each episode is just Robert recounting that weeks events to his (new) therapist, kind of like how the bar scene in episode 5 progresses as Robert remembers that night.
Mecha Man is transgender and CHOSE to name himself Robert Robertson.
AU where Waterboy and Robert develop a really strong mentor-student relationship, then Robert dies in the suit and Waterboy decides to step in and take over as the next Mecha Man.
