This blog is run by the same system that runs @psych-disability-polls, because we did not want to flood that blog with CDD polls, though that will still have CDD polls every once in while. Complex Dissociative Disorder refers to dissociative disorders in which symptoms result in significant identity alterations. CDDs includes dissociative identity disorder(DID), other specified dissociative disorder 1(OSDD 1), partial dissociative identity disorder(P-DID), and some presentations of unspecified dissociative disorder(UDD or UsDD). Arguably possession trance disorder could also be considered a CDD as well.
General rules:
Don't say ableist and stigmatizing things about any disorders.
Don't send asks for the sole reason of starting fights.
Don't claim anybody is faking a disability.
Do shot us we are just messengers
Also people with CDD that don't self describe as systems can vote on polls.
People without a CDD are allowed to interact and ask questions, just don't vote on the polls (other than the "not of the demographic of this poll" option)
Request rules:
Requesting polls targeted at specific groups; for example P-DID systems, systems of color, systems that survived specific trauma, etc. are allowed.
Most poll topics are fine to request, including discourse related one though we as the system running this blog will probably not make those on our own. Polls about "heavier" topics such as relating to trauma, self-harm, sex, and substance use are absolutely allowed.
However:
Don't ask for polls where based on the phrasing of the questions you intend for there to be a "right" answer
Don't ask for personal advice polls(for example "should I get a diagnosis?") or legal advice.
