I need people to realize that using ‘Mel is too good for Langdon’ as an argument against kingdon falls flat real quick because it sounds like Frank being an addict is something you view as a moral failing, and not something that he can learn from, and grow as a person. Which again makes the opinion a lot worse.

Mind you, Langdon is like the biggest green flag ever towards Mel, because he is the only one who has been capable of understanding her, and willing to listen, which is the bare minimum of social interactions; but apparently for most of the staff who has been working with her for far longer it certainly isn’t
