A naïve rookie cop is forcefully jaded by the realities of inner city black life.
Based on real-life current events, Perception examines the reasons why unprovoked violence from law enforcement exists. Perception tells the story of a rookie cop who is hardened to the inner-streets of the black community, and finds himself on the aggressive end of his baton; a woman who discovers that the community’s water supply has been purposely compromised for profit by her state senator, and launches an investigation to find the truth, and to save her family; and a sudden change in plans for a recent high school graduate who is on his way to college. Perception depicts the realities of inner-city life struggles, and the law enforcers who are charged to maintain and execute control. Additionally, Perception explores the lengths people will go when greed is their motivation.
