Banner ID: a galaxy version of the genderqueer flag. Profile picture ID: a digital cartoony drawing of an alien cat from the neck up. It’s holding a blahaj shark plush. The background is the bi flag.
So since I’ve never made an intro post (wild, I know) I decided to make one!
Since I reserve my “about” section for my profile picture and banner image IDs, I decided I should make a pinned post.
Also, this way, people won’t have to wade through my entire blog to see if they’ll want to to follow me, so this’ll be easier for everyone :)
I’m not gonna be including a “DNI” since those don’t work and I honestly find them kinda pointless. But I will be listing things about me, and I suggest that if you don’t think I deserve to exist (or anything along that vein) for being/doing/having any those things, you just block me lol
Actual info under the cut! (There’s a LOT 😭)
Howdy, call me Dizzy! That’s not my real name but it’s what I go by on here.
Pronouns depend on who’s fronting, but the most active poster, Kason, uses he/him so default to those! If you’re referring to all of us as a system, use the plural they/them!
I am:
-Queer in multiple ways (I’ve pretty much given up on labeling myself at this point, but that’s a separate post lol) and transitioning to a presentation that more closely resembles my inner self
-Disabled, also in multiple ways that I won’t be listing here, but I do post about them sometimes, so if you’re really nosy (/lighthearted) you can read my posts
-Anti-zionist/pro-Palestine/anti-genocide
-Anti-endo/anti-radqueer (endos ARE radqueers and not enough people realize that but, again, separate post)
-Against the TCC, y’all are fucking losers lol and so are the pieces of human shit you idolize
-Trying my best to make my blog as accessible as I possibly can, but please (politely) let me know if I mess up!
I am NOT:
-Someone who polices people’s queer identities (yes, this means I support “contradictory” labels. Labels were made to fit people, not the other way around.)
-Trying to be rude on purpose! (Usually.) If I’ve said something rude, it was most likely not intentional, but I apologize anyway
-Able to donate to anyone who asks. Please respect that.
I don’t currently tag posts with blog-specific tags, but I wanna start soo here are the tags I’ll use to sort posts:
-dizzy's soapbox: for "speeches" or ramble-y informational posts that are usually long and/or preachy
-dizzy’s reblogs: uhh self explanatory..
-ASDizzy: posts about my autism
-from the sparks system: system related posts
And SPEAKING of system posts!
Here are the tags our common posters will use:
-🐾 AJ || he/they/it
-🧯 Finch || they/he
-🥞 Kason || he/him
-🌿 Kota || he/they
-🐦🔥 Phoenix || he/him
-🐸 Quinni || she/her
-🛸 Xenon || xe/xim
-🦴 Zan || he/it
And I think that’s juuust about it :)
Thanks for taking the time to read ALLL this!! Have a good day :)
Also I LOVE getting asks so feel free to drop some if you want! Anon is turned off tho, cause people suck
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)

some people like to get mad at disability benefits because they think its unfair people who dont work get a payout from the government while they have to work 50 hours at the human suffering factory every week. but if you tell them "yeah that sucks i think you should also get a universal allowance and not have to work 50 hours at the human suffering factory every week" thats apparently the wrong answer.
real talk tho ive seen ppl talk abt how long hair on men isn't intrinsically feminine & assuming so is racist can we get the same convo going for Black women w short hair can we start talking abt how short hair isn't intrinsically masculine or is that a step too far
Why does my body think that me going to a music festival in 2 hours constitutes a bout of “can’t eat, I’ll throw up” anxiety. What is the purpose of this, brain.
Hello, I work for a large moderately evil corporation and for at least five years now I have to sign a yearly thing to say I will never ever have one of these devices in the same room as me while I work.
My large moderately evil employer takes it for granted that these things are spying on me at all times, and you should too.
this disability pride month, consider branching out. learn a bit about a disability you don’t know much about. donate to a charity for a condition that doesn’t affect anyone you know. speak up for and value the lives of the disabled people who are so isolated you’ll never meet them, people who are institutionalised or can’t go outside or speak or type. show some love to disabled strangers in any way you can.
Heartwarming story: Little girl doesn’t have to do anything to fund her dad’s surgery because his expenses are covered by his country’s universal healthcare.
Human determination: Man bikes 18 miles to work every morning because he wants to and not because he can’t afford a car and would be fired if he’s late.
Spirit of Brotherhood: Neighbors host housewarming party for elderly resident who doesn’t need help in paying rent because his pension is more than enough.
SO INSPIRING: Local middle school students bake dozens of cupcakes because their home economics class is doing a baking unit. Their school is fully funded with everything they need.
#i appreciate how genuine and non-judgemental this comic feels
#like left one is not upset at right one for caring while being powerless
#and right one seems genuinely distraught and not performative
I'm glad the facial expressions are coming across accurately!
It can feel so absurd to say gosh I hope the torment maze removes some fire and rusty nails soon, but alas, sometimes that's all one can do.
