MOVED TO VOODOODISNEY SEND THE WASPS
do you just ever stop using a blog for two years and then remember you own said blog because uh, wow. whatta fuckin turn of events
hello fellow⌠survivors
moominpappa in the moomin comics is fine, heâs just finnish
forgot my favorite one:
âTHIS IS THE WILD WEST AND ITâS GONNA BE WILDâ - Moominpappa, pulling out two pistols
this is exemplary girlfriend behaviour
tbh a big part of me learning Cat Behaviour⢠was watching close cat friends interact. like, Pangur and Grim absolutely ADORE each other, could not be better buds. they also hiss at, swat at, and bite one another â usually in fits of temper, when boundaries are crossed (e.g. when Pangur wonât stop lick-biting Grimâs ear), or just when theyâve been cuddling too long and suddenly feel overstimulated.
tl;dr thereâs NOTHING wrong with your cat hissing, or lightly biting your skin. itâs literally just momentary communication.
If you played 'Pokemon' video games as a kid, an area of your brain, just behind your ears, may help you recognize the characters now.
âIf you played PokĂŠmon video games extensively as a kid, thereâs a good chance that a specific region of your brain gets fired up when you see the characters now. In a recent study, researchers from Stanford University showed test subjects hundreds of PokĂŠmon characters. As you might expect, the brains of longtime PokĂŠmon fans responded more than those unfamiliar with the game. But whatâs more surprising is that, in all of the fans, a specific brain fold responded, an area just behind the ears, called the occipitotemporal sulcus.â
I see Skuntank and dopamine fills my brain
I love this article because it suggests that I have a specific part of my brain dedicated to remembering and appreciating pokemon. Like this obsession has physically manifested on my brain

Lena Waithe out here serving the truth:
ATTENTION: THOSE ARENT PINSTRIPES THOSE ARE DISCO LYRICS
holy shit you can kind of see if you zoom in. the level of detail and thought put into this
she snapped, she really did, she always does, thatâs life, thatâs camp
Nobody:
Dwarf Inquisitor:
billy porter did not absolutely pop off with that met gala look only for some of y'all to call harry styles the king of camp i-
Okay look. LOOK.
Harry looks pretty good for a straight boy. Itâs classy and campy and he looks good.
But if weâre talking King of Camp (shouldnât it be Queen of Camp, really? Just saying), he doesnât even make the rankings!
Hamish Bowles, Vogue editor:
Ryan Murphy:
Jordan Roth (who owns at least one broadway theater, thus the theme):
Michael Urie:
Darren Criss, whoâs on the more subdued side:
And then the aforementioned Billy Porter, who arrived ON A VELVET LITTER CARRIED BY SIX SHIRTLESS MEN:
Harry is basically a WALLFLOWER compared to these glorious looks. How anyone could call that boy the âking of campâ is beyond me.

Lyft just offered me free credits to break the strike this week.
Thereâs a lyft / uber strike planned this week from 7am to 9pm on Wednesday May 8th. I got a notification this morning that every ride taken this week gives me credit on future rides. I found that tempting but then remembered why they are doing it - to encourage folks to cross a picket line. I for one wonât be taking advantage of this offer, as I stand in solidarity with people utilizing their right to free speech to bargain for better working conditions.
Consider this a friendly reminder to those who follow me that this is happening, and I hope youâll support the appsâ drivers in their quests for better pay.
Ubereats is now suddenly accepting apple pay as well! dont fall for it!
