i really do believe that the answer to a lot of people's self hatred is not to try and reassure them that they are wonderful and okay and enough, but instead to remind them theyre a completely unremarkable regular ass person who is not the center of the universe or especially important so why would they expect themselves to be some superhuman savior. like there really is a kernel of out of control self importance at the heart of thinking youre an evil lazy piece of shit. because why would you expect you be anything but just like some guy. if you wouldnt expect the guy who works at the vape shop or your mailman or whatever to be able to do something then why would you expect yourself to? youre just some random ass person. its fine
huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while

like why even bother corrupting a hero if it's only temporary. at the very least when they ARE 'freed' by their teammates there should be a lingering sense of loss that culminates over time into them realizing they MISSED being at your command so they end up tracking you down, not to stop you but to beg you to enthrall them again so they can turn their brain off in a way that was blissful to them. just saying.
Hey @prismaticpichu hope it's not weird that I screenshotted your tags but they just seemed so apt to me. I remember reading this post a few days ago and I had some similar thoughts but I wasn't able to articulate them! Definitely very Sefikura coded IMO! I'm totally here for the idea that the whole mind control thing could be a huge relief in a way, especially from the heavy burden of tormented and painful thoughts. And I can imagine it would be very difficult to fight against, almost like an addiction. Anyway, yeah, love it.
