Do you think Buck ever talks to Bobby about like missing this kid so bad and caring about him so much, and worrying about how he’s doing in Texas and if he’s getting along okay with his grandparents and his new friends, and if he’s homesick, and any of a million other little hurts or worries he’s too far away for Buck to do anything about, but like he’s not actually Chris’ dad so he feels like he doesn’t deserve to feel this heartache like Eddie does so he’s been trying to just live with it sitting quietly in his chest.
