Nodding he was almost tempted to ask if Dominic simply kept a list on him. New York was… different in their interactions with species inter-mixing. He wasn’t the oldest ‘cubi in that city but not the youngest leaving him often times being turned to for advice. Typically it was ‘how to deal with a dead body’. Much easier times then. “Excellent.” Offering a curt nod again, “Regardless, try to keep it under control we can’t rule out possibilities of someone wanting that to happen. If it is someone on the council they could be looking to hold a higher position.” It all sounded like a bad movie but the years he’s spent among people who think they ‘deserve’ something taught him no one is innocent. “From what I can tell you can’t step a foot outside without a supernatural passing by, all very new from old cities. I see it as opportunity - unfortunate one but it has brought out faces I probably wouldn’t have met other wise.”
Dominic nodded at Sallow’s words, bored from their conversation and beginning to have his thoughts wander off into other territory. Whatever the other man was saying, he doubted it was of any importance. It was times like this when Dominic wished drinking on the job wasn’t frowned upon, or that smoking wasn’t such a disgusting habit. “Are you calling New Orleans a new city? Or just new to you?” New Orleans might not be quite as old as Philadelphia, but the people of New Orleans were just as if not more proud of the history that was inside the walls. It wasn’t something Dominic himself called about, but he knew plenty of people who did, his father included. “I suppose the city would have more supernaturals, though. There’s the certain aura the place holds that I have yet to encounter other places.” Whether the aura was a good thing or not was yet to be decided. “Hm, only a matter of time before you started meeting people that you’ve met so far. The supernatural community is a fairly small circle when it comes down to it, everyone knowing everyone and such.”
