i know the way people talk about their pets now is probably how weāve been doing it for all of history. a cat owner in ancient rome saw their cat lounging on the dining pillows and commented āhe thinks himself to be the senator claudius š¤£ā
this is how new yorkers @ mamdani

my cat is completely obsessed with watching the bathroom sink drain and I have started calling this "her shows." as in when I'm in the bathroom and she meows and runs up I'll be like "oh you want to watch your shows?" and run the faucet for an extra few seconds so it fills a little. she will then sit there at the edge of the sink for ages totally entraptured by the drain. blorbo from her sink
i'm wasting my life on the computer when i could be living my life to the fullest on the computer
truly some people have no genre savviness whatsoever. A girl came back from the dead the other day and fresh out of the grave she laughed and laughed and lay down on the grass nearby to watch the sky, dirt still under her nails. I asked her if sheās sad about anything and she asked me why she should be. I asked her if sheās perhaps worried sheās a shadow of who she used to be and she said that if she is a shadow she is a joyous one, and anyway whoever she was she is her, now, and thatās enough. I inquired about revenge, about unfinished business, about what had filled her with the incessant need to claw her way out from beneath but she just said sheās here to live. I told her about ghosts, about zombies, tried to explain to her how her options lie between horror and tragedy but she just said if those are the stories meant for her then sheāll make another one. I said āisnāt it terribly lonely how in your triumph over death nobody was here to greet you?ā and she just looked at me funny and said āwhat do you mean? The whole world was here, waitingā. Some people, I tell you.
people will really come into kink spaces and say you can't forcefem women like there wasn't a feature length movie about an elderly gay man forcefemming a woman as part of scheme to thwart an elaborate assassination attempt before the killer even determined their target
What... What movie is this.
ain't no way in hell this post even breaks 500
i was trying so hard to remember the nonexistent assassination subplot in My Fair Lady

Next up are three new skirt designs, starting with Fire! This midi circle skirt features red-hot flames rising from the hem on a black background. When it moves, the flames almost look like theyāre flickering! Then thereās Hot Air Balloons: Iāve wanted to release this design for so long! Pastel hot air balloons float over blue mountains beneath a soft sunrise sky that fades from cheerful blue to pastel pink. And finally ā Daisies! I first designed this back in 2022 while searching for an embroidery factory, but the samples never worked out so I shelved it for years. I finally reworked it, and Iām so happy with how it turned out: white daisies circling the hem on an elegant cool gray background.
