So today is my last day volunteering at the Supervisor of Elections. My journey here was one that I happened to pick since I knew some of the people already. So after 3 months and finally landing a job, I'm putting in my last 5 hours today. Bitter sweet as I learned a lot and really enjoyed what I was doing. So this morning Shirley came by and said she just wanted to give me a little thanks for everything I've done. This comes with a handwritten note, a Dunkin Gift card and a gas card! Was not expecting any of this as I'm just a girl having to get volunteer hours. Thanks to all the employees of the Supervisor of Elections that made me feel welcome and like a part of the team! Not Weigh in Wednesday! I'm a rebel!! Soooo...... down 2 lbs this week!! That's awesome for the smorgasbord I had at Olive Garden on Saturday. (BTW totally paid for that with bloating lol) So total weight loss 7lbs!! Not as good as it could be. Better then nothing. Let me be real. I'm struggling, I'm making excuses, but the awesome thing is that's all they are! I can Make a tea and shake in 6 mins!! But February has been a restart. Been drinking my water, basically following my meal plan. None of this is magic. You have to just do it. No excuse if you don't.
