Don't leave your friends and even acquaintances to go to the hospital alone. If they don't have someone already going with them and don't explicitly tell you they don't want you there, go to advocate for them. Outcomes for sick people change dramatically when they have someone else there to observe doctors (making them know they can't get away with negligence) and note symptoms from an outside perspective.
Going to the hospital is scary and even someone totally unprepared to be a medical advocate or physical support will be better than nothing, purely from their presence. You can grab food, be there with your phone to search if theirs dies, go in search of a doctor, distract them from pain or discomfort... go with them.
🥹How many times must my little girl be admitted to the intensive care unit before the world gives her a chance at life?
A 16-year-old girl has been admitted to the ICU twice due to kidney disease and needs €660 for urgent tests and treatment. What would your reaction be?
❤️ I would donate if I could.
🔁 I would share her story so it reaches someone who can help.
🙏 I would pray for her recovery
💔 I hope she finds someone to save her.
Sometimes, a life hinges on an amount that might seem small to some, but for our family, it represents the difference between continuing treatment and waiting for the condition to deteriorate
😭My daughter, Farah, has a severe renal tubular disorder that causes dangerously low potassium levels and blood acidity. The condition can lead to extreme weakness, muscle paralysis, cardiac complications, and is considered a form of chronic kidney failure. She has been admitted to the ICU twice after life-threatening cardiac episodes. Medical reports confirm that she urgently needs continuous treatment and close monitoring, but the medications and medical services she depends on are unavailable💔🥹
🆘Today, we urgently need €660 to cover:
🩺 Necessary medical tests and examinations.
📺 An imaging scan required to assess her condition.
💊 Healthcare services and necessary treatment.
Every day of delay increases the risk of her condition worsening, and we cannot bear these costs alone🥹💔
🙏 If you are able to donate, you are giving Farah a chance at treatment. If you cannot, sharing this appeal might reach someone who can help us. Thank you to everyone standing with us and praying for Farah’s recovery🌹
Note: if you would prefer to pay via paypal, you can do so here.

Some families measure time in days; we, however, have come to measure it by our ability to secure the next step of our daughter’s treatment. There is nothing harder for any parent than watching their child in pain🙏🏻
🚨👩🏻🦼Happy Disability Pride Month! 🤍✨As we celebrate this special month, I am reaching out to your kind hearts as a mother. My beautiful little girl is a child with special needs—she is my ultimate source of pride and joy, fighting her battles every day with the sweetest smile. To help her get the medical care, therapies, and support she needs to thrive, we are raising funds.🌹🇵🇸🤍👩🏻🦼
I reached out to Wesal today because I hadn't heard from her in a couple of days, which doesn't happen often, and she brought me this alarming news. Farah is back in the hospital:
"Farah had to undergo an urgent procedure and remains in the hospital. Her condition deteriorated—her potassium levels dropped to 2.2—forcing us to keep her in the hospital to receive intravenous potassium."
These are extremely low levels of potassium, putting Farah at risk of cardiac arrest. Intravenous supplementation of potassium must be done slowly - going too fast also endangers one's heart. This means Farah has to stay at the hospital, which, for a child like her, is very distressing. It is distressing for Wesal too.
"I feel like I am the one who will collapse to the ground, dead. I simply don't have the energy left; I am not a superhuman robot—I am a human being with limited stamina. The strain of standing, the constant vigilance and caution, and the need to monitor the IV drip—watching it fall drop by drop because the flow rate cannot be increased without risking adverse effects on the heart—have all taken their toll."
This is the second time that Farah has been admitted to hospital in a very short time. It is very costly, but there is no other option. The potassium supplements that Farah should be receiving have been unavailable for months now. We must keep Farah alive so she can be evacuated by the WHO when the opportunity arises.
Please donate if you are able, and share this post! Farah needs us!
"I'm afraid things will get to the point where I can't even buy a banana or a chicken breast for my daughter, mother, or father. I cry and say, "Oh God, please let the humanitarians continue to support us and donate. I won't even be able to afford filtered water without them.""
Wesal and I are both grateful for every single donation and every single reblog. ❤️
tagging for reach, I'm sorry to bother you once again, but please share and ask your friends to share as well, thank you <3 (let me know if you don't want me to tag you anymore, apologies for any multiple tags)
Art and other rewards being offered for those who have proof of donation (such as a screenshot of receipt, probably with personal information blacked out) to the well-known vetting lists and a few other. I have collected an up-to-date list here. There is also links to other lists: for such as flowerpawarts's spreadsheet, you should make sure they accept the vetting list or are not just funding for a specific family

🩷There is a little girl waiting not for a gift... but for a chance at life. 💔From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or prayed for my daughter. 🤍🫂🇵🇸
A trans person will simply exist in the same building as a child, and conservatives will make a scene about how "inappropriate" and "indecent" it is. But a children's author will upskirt a trans woman and post said photo to her 14 million followers on social media, a significant number of whom are most likely children, and suddenly conservatives don't seem to care about appropriateness and decency. It's almost like they never cared about the children in the first place. Weird...
are people talking about the labor conditions at Taylor Farms yet? like the fact they use enslaved prisoners in their facilities?
are we drawing the connection between worker safety and consumer safety & public health yet?
are people demanding to see the conditions in this place that keeps making us sick? why are the enslaved workers not having the time to use the bathroom or to rest when ill? very few people would shit in front of their coworkers given any choice at all.
