they're still terming random transfems as i type this i see which does make quite a statement doing this today specifically
watched three girls who reblogged its new blog mutual aidpost (made literally 15 minutes ago) already disappear from its notifs. transfems are not included in their pride :/
QUITE the statement to be nuking transfems at the current accelerated pace right at the start of pride month like this, isn't it
This post is no more than two days old as of June 3rd, 2026. All of these blogs were nuked in two days or less.
what can you do if you get fired for attendance? how can you get a job after that?
👻 -for finding later
Fired for attendance is way better than being fired for embezzlement. So look on the bright side!
The first thing you need to do is recognize WHY your attendance was lacking. Were you sick, mentally or physically? Did you not have reliable transportation to work? Understand what went wrong so you know what to tell a future employer in a job interview.
And once you know the problem and how to talk about it to a potential employer... also be prepared to tell them how this time will be different.
How To Get Ready For a Job Interview: Prep Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself
Ask the Bitches: How Do I Prepare for a Job Interview on Zoom?
Did we just help you out? Say thanks on Patreon!
A separate thought: it's none of the new employers' business why you left a prior job. If they ask in the interview, just say, "I don't think it was a great fit, so I decided to look elsewhere." If they don't ask, don't volunteer. The only impact that the reason for your termination should have is on you: if it's something you control, then work on fixing it. If it's not something you control, then you get to see how it affects you at the new job. (It might be something that you think you can't control but you can, like "I find it really hard to complete a project, I get bored about 80% through," could very easily actually be "I have ADHD.")
Anyway, somebody wants to know why you left a job, be vague, be boring, and pivot back to why you're interested in their job. If you're worried about your references burning you, I would say that 95% of the time, employers these days are going to confirm dates of employment and job title on departure and that's it. You can also tell them not to contact your last employer, especially if you have others.
Very well said!
Change.org - Petition To Hire 1,000,000 People To Put Their Fingers In The Shoot Hole Of Peoples’ Guns So They Can’t Shoot Them
It’s still gonna shoot… And they’re gonna lose a finger
No. The finger blocks the bullet. We can do this
This is a gun we’re talking about. The projectile is fired using an explosion, not by compressed air of a toy gun or the elastic forces of a sling shot. People would be lucky if they only lost their finger.
The finger blocks it
The finger won’t block it - the shaft is only there for keeping the bullet straight, all the propulsion happens behind the bullet. The bullet would rip through the finger, not that many would actually fit without the victim being a child, and beyond.
The bullet would go forward a little and then hit the finger and stop it’s not that hard to understand
People are going to lose their hands. Go watch Mythbusters. They did an episode on this, the hand fucking exploded.
No, the bullet would start to go but stop at the finger. Thats basic physics. Also hands dont explode normally they did something wrong.
Why the dingleknockers would you even consider sticking your finger in the barrel of a loaded gun?? the amount of force propelling the bullet at that close of range would shatter the finger at the very least; this is a petition for 1,000,000 people to loose the use of their hands. If a bullet explodes the back of a persons skull when they shoot it in their mouth it sure as hell will explode a finger.
No the finger would stop it
I’m loving the idiocy of this post.
Ppl with brains: ummm finger go boom…
Others: no bullet stop. U no kno fisics >:V
no the finger would stop it
You guy who think the bullet would stop at the finger have never shot a gun and can volunteer to it their fingers in the barrel of my 9 mil and I’ll I’ll the trigger and see if it will stop the bullet. Dumdasses
the finger would stop it

These fuckwits are back again? How’s it going, Nine Finger Nasty? About to turn into an Eight Finger Egghead?
@meatswitch @raptorific this is a US based site. US Americans are known for two things- obsession with guns and incredible stupidity. Had this been anyone else, I’d say they’re trying to fuck with us. But with US Americans, about 70% of them are dead serious about mangling their hands trying to stop a bullet.
I’ve had four years to think about it and now I think the finger would stop it
I just tested it with my buddy. It stops the bullet
….Mythbusters WELDED A METAL SPIKE into the barrel of a gun to obstruct it, something heaps stronger than a human finger (and sealed the barrel better with the filler metal used to fuse the metal spike into place and prevent the explosive gases from escaping) but even that didn’t stop the bullet from doing damage.
It’s because they didn’t use a finger like I did
Years ago back when I worked in cubicle land, we were hiring junior software developers. They didn’t have to have a ton of experience, just a willingness to learn, and some demonstration of their software skills. Like: show me a program you wrote (any language) or a web site you designed. Anything.
And there was this one guy I talked with who seemed super sharp, but had virtually zero experience writing software. When it came time to do the show-n-tell part of the interview he whips out his laptop, brings up a website, and spins it around to show me what he made.
A website of tiny ceramic frogs.
Not for sale. Just… all these ceramic frogs, organized into categories. Frogs on bicycles, frogs with hats, frogs sitting on lily pads. It was a virtual museum of ceramic frogs in web form.
I scrolled through his online collection of frogs, slightly baffled.
“This is your website?” I asked finally.
“Yep!”
“You coded this yourself?” I popped into view-source mode and poked around some incredibly well-formatted, well-commented html. I nodded slowly. This guy was meticulous.
“Yep!”
“So… where’d all the frogs come from?”
“I made those too,” he says, beaming.
And while I’m processing this he rummages in his bag and pulls out a little ceramic frog working at a computer terminal. He places it on the table before us, next to the laptop.
“And THIS one,” he says, “I made for you! As a thank you for the interview.”
It was adorable. I hired him on the spot. I mean, why not? Worst case he’d wash out in 90 days and we’d hire somebody else. He turned out to be one of the best developers on our team.
And yes, his cubicle was loaded with ceramic frogs.
its like a gacha pull talking to my plural wife i might get the one who usually fronts but there are the rarer ones also . dormant ones would be a legendary but i havent seen those

alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative

30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive

Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)

Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?

if i was a popular minecraft youtuber id just tweet "hey guys stop drawing shipping fanart of me and my friends/coworkers, i only fucked one of them and seeing me paired with anyone else is kinda weird and crosses my boundaries" and then i'd turn my phone off
My mom likes to tell me about how when I was a little kid riding public transport with her I'd always smile and giggle and chat with weird old ladies who smelled like cat pee and homeless folks and strangers dressed in bizarre outfits but any time a tidy and respectable businessman in a suit and tie waved at me I'd immediately clam up, and she takes a great deal of pride in my supposed inherentability to clock personalities but the truth is I do vaguely remember those bus rides, and it was never about the clothes or the hair or the smell, but more because everyone "strange" asked interesting questions and listened to what I had to say and seemed to think about what I said while the neat and tidy and rigid folks only ever acted like they were going through the motions, which was boring as hell and also pretty annoying
Well-to-do finance manager with tidy shoes: "Why hello, sweetheart. Can you say 'hi'? Aren't you cute. Are you on a trip with your mom?"
4 year old me: why must we do this
Fantastic old woman in the leopard print coat: "Why yes, my tooth IS real silver! Nobody ever asks me that. Do you like cats?"
4 year old me, suddenly paying attention: Finally, A Person Of Intellect
What [car] would you build a time machine out of?
an old VW Beetle because it wouldn't look out of place literally anywhere
Lancelot: Egad sire! Look at that. King Arthur: Hm, rare to see a VW Beetle this far north. Not impossible, mind.
not the twitter migrants putting "reblog heavy" in their bios on here... like yeah. that's what we do here

YO I WAS JUST READING A THREAD ABOUT THIS PERSON WHO TRIED TO TRACK DOWN THE ORIGINAL IMAGE OF HEROBRINE AND COULDN'T FIND IT, BUT HE FOUND SOMETHING ELSE
HEROBRINE WAS FORMERLY FEMALE?????
Diversity win! The creepypasta haunting your Minecraft world is trans!
@staff stop terming my friends. Why are you letting nazis thrive and terminating trans girls fifty times in a row
They reinstated Pjackk, a blog that's been abandoned for over a year before getting terminated, but none of the trans women who were termed for posting selfies and talking about their days
damn happy pride huh
reminder that staff never answered my messages regarding my original termination with nothing but automated boilerplate stuff until they blocked me from appealing.
Staff doesn't want trans women
