Here's the final Wings of Fire Darkstalker cover redraw!! It's a mix of watercolor with salt speckles as the background, marker and pen drawings for Darkstalker and Clearsight (front and back covers respectively) and digital text, threads of fate, and moonstones.

This was a really fun project! I usually work mostly digital for projects like this, so working mainly analog was a huge challenge, especially since I didn't have a lot of darker colors for the two Nightwings!!

If you ask the crew about it, none of them know what you’re talking about, but they all avert their gazes and will quickly find something else to do somewhere else. Why are you asking so many questions, when the weather is so nice?

i was so worried that i wouldnt be able to add any foreshadowing of the main topics and themes of my comic to the preview version i need to have finished in a week, but ive learned you should never underestimate the power of a good background detail. ive hidden so many tiny details that readers may catch, or might not catch until their second read through! i love thinking about stuff like that, because im a huge book/comic rereader to catch new details i missed!!
