Cinema Secrets Lighting Mod

Cinema Secrets Lighting Mod is the spiritual successor to the Maxis Match Lighting Mod that aims to keep the stuff I like with MM Lighting Mod, but integrate some aspects I like in the Radiance Lighting Mod and try to fix issues that plagued both.

Sweet Little Lies - A Set of Lipstick Defaults [DOWNLOAD]

This is a redux of my old Sweet Wonderful You lip defaults from 2018 because I wanted to change it up a bit. These defaults have a new alpha that’s less transparent than Sweet Wonderful You but can still suit a variety of skintones.

On top of that, the glossy lips use a texture blend of SWY and @antoninko‘s Together Lipstick so the matte and glossy lips now have different textures.

Defaults only for now, but I have plans to make nondefaults and additional colors at some point. Thumbnails are the same as SWY.

I’ve included these fixes that remove the blue snow at night along with my MM Lighting Mod for the longest time, but here it is repackaged for those who just want the shader fixes without having to download my entire lighting mod.

just found out that the main shader file conflicts with @lazyduchess Overly Bright CAS fix so I included their fixes with the main shader fixes. If you have LD’s file, make sure to remove it from your Downloads folder.

added a version of the lot water that uses Moi’s green version of the lake water.

added a roof shader edit that uses Deastrumquodvicis’s version of the roof shader

I just integrated some of the stealth hood families to Alt Pleasantview, Alt Strangetown and Alt Veronaville. If you haven’t already started a hood (or want to reset), navigate to the respective posts to download the updated hoods.

Many Sims have relocated to the quiet, comfortable countryside, in the hopes that life and family can firmly plant their roots in the middle of nowhere. Fresh crops aren't the only thing growing in the farming community of Riverblossom Hills – love is in the air and many a relationship is on the verge of blossoming. 

Unfortunately, problems are bound to sprout in a town this small. Things are looking up, but hearts can always turn cold with the onset of winter.

My Aromanticism project mods - Alexandra Teatherton in this neighborhood is canonically an aromantic lesbian. I didn’t add the aromantic trait in this download, but I suggest adding some of the mods in to make it more accurate.

KNOWN ISSUES:

If you use a non-semitransparent Plantsim default, Daisy Greenman’s face might use the AF plantsim face texture. Just apply facepaint to her, then remove it again to fix it.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

for main hood (ALRH):  Put directly in your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder.

for shopping district (SDRH): Put in your -INSTALL LOCATION-\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate folder.

Delete the G002 stealth hood in your Seasons installation folder so you don’t end up with duplicates of the Ottomas and Ramaswami families

Notable Changes:

All occupied residential lots have been made over. I didn’t touch any of the community lots or the unoccupied lots, but you can find a few makeovers for them somewhere else.

Two new households: I added in the Ottomas and Ramaswami families to this neighborhood and integrated them with the rest of the neighborhood as much as I could.

Basic makeovers for all premades. Most of the clothing and hairstyles should come from the game, but I used some CC for a few premades

Overhauled the Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs for the teen and adult premades.

Added at least one Pet in all households.

All faces, if necessary, have been adjusted to Maxian face length proportions. This should sort out any interesting genetic quirks that may come from breeding certain premades (although it would not totally eliminate them)

There are various changes to sims’ memories and relationships. As to what some of them are, it’s for you to find out, but some may be familiar if you’ve played the V1 version.

Household Changes:

Greenman

Jason Greenman has been made into a Plantsim, given that he has a locked want for it.

Jason’s face has been lengthened to Maxian proportions.

Rose Greenman has been given a job in the Natural Science career

Jason and Daisy should now have a parent-child relationship and recognize each other as family.

McGreggor

Leod’s household doesn’t have too many changes, but there are a few that should stand out, but will not be mentioned here as to not go into spoiler territory.

Wan

Patricia Wan and Cleo Shikibu have been made a couple, as the Watcher intended.

Patricia and Cleo should know all their respective coworkers.

Patricia’s interests have been adjusted to actually make her have interests.

Viejo

Catherine Viejo and Betty Goldstein have also been made to fall in love with each other. Again, as the Watcher intended.

Andrew and Jacob Martin have been switched to Pleasure sims.

Catherine now receives a pension.

Betty has been switched to the Adult track of the Law career.

Andrew and Jacob’s faces have been adjusted for length

O’Mackey

Gabe O’Mackey’s face has been adjusted.

Jules O’Mackey is now in the Journalism career.

Roth

All the Roths’ faces have been adjusted.

Stella Roth’s skintone has been changed from S2 to S3.

Sandra Roth’s skintone was changed from S3 to S2 (and has a tan overlay).

Stella’s career level has been increased and should know all her coworkers (and a few others)..

Teatherton

Alexandra Teatherton now has her own home. Most of the changes go into spoilers so I will not mention it here.

Ottomas

Peter and Dora Ottomas’s faces have been adjusted.

Dora now draws a pension.

Ramaswami

Sanjay and Priya Ramaswami should know all their coworkers.

Priya’s interests have been adjusted to actually make her have interests.

re-remaxified skinblend (download for free @ patreon)

i've been wanting to edit @pixeldolly's re-maxified skintones for a while but only got around to doing the tedious simpe texture importing process.

what's changed:

for this blend, I changed the eyelids and lips to the one I used in my io skinblend edit and added additional options for defaults.

what's included:

- defaults for s1-s4

S1 has only one option

for S2, you can choose between S2 and S2.5 as your default

for S3, you can choose between S3 and S3.5 as your default

for S4, you can choose between S4 and S4.5 as your default

- geneticized and townified versions of s1-s4.5

s1, s2, s3, s3.5, and s4 use ghanima's original packages so you can't use both at the same time

s2.5 and s4.5 use my own packages so they shouldn't conflict with anything

- a pale (s0.5) and dark skintone (s5) swatch

s5 uses the package for jawusa's castaway skintone

s0 used its own package so it shouldn't conflict with anything

- defaults for aliens, zombies, plantsims, and genies

for aliens, you can choose between green (AG) and mint (AM)

for plantsims, you can choose between green (PSG) and olive (PSO)
