Honestly, Tvyek is pretty miraculous. It’s permeable to water vapor but not to water, it’s nearly impossible to tear, but can be easily cut. It’s cheap and made entirely without binding chemicals. In addition to being used for wristbands, it’s used to wrap construction sites to keep out water during construction, for tear-resistant envelopes at Fed-Ex, coveralls for mechanics, and my wallet, actually.

Fun tip, though it looks like paper, Tyvek is plastic, and cannot be recycled with paper.

This is the 1st firehouse conversion that I actually like, but what a big gap between the asking price and Zillow! The 1908 station in Shreveport, LA has 3bds, 3ba, 4,174sqft. $598,900 (Zillow's est.: $235,300). It has a fun address, too- it's on Stoner Ave.

The main floor has great brick walls and lovely light fixtures.

There's plenty space for a dining area.

I really like this island. The round table tops must be much more comfortable than eating at a counter.

They've got before photos for the buyers to see.

Very nice kitchen.

Half bath on the main floor.

Very nice living room area, but not sure if I like the home gym being above it.

I guess it's a good space for it.

Oh, I love this 1897 mixed use, single family residence + store, in Hudson, NY. Plus, it also includes a carriage house. 5bds, 8ba, 6,539sqft, $2.5m. (Zillow's est.: $1,435,700)

The stairs lead directly into the living room and the beautiful brick-walled residence.

This is lovely.

It's an open concept and the dining area is in front of a brick fireplace in the middle of the space.

And, then there's a beautifully done kitchen with a pizza oven.

Another fireplace in the amply sized bedroom.

The 2nd bedroom is nice, as well.

This is nice- one bath has a modern take on a vintage tub.

All 3 bedrooms are very nice.

And, the other bath still retains some vintage elements.
