Reader is Silky’s cousin who also gets into Streamer University. After a long time of traveling all around the world, streaming and vlogging. Silky tries to convince you into hanging out with him a few more weeks, wanting to show you his life in L.A after years of not seeing each other in person.

When you meet a certain person you develop a “little” crush on you think on maybe taking up your cousin’s offer in staying for a bit.

A theory from Robert Winch’s, complementary needs theory. Suggests that people unconsciously pick partners who have different traits to complete or balance them. However, modern psychology and studies show that this theory is mostly a myth in human relationships.

Laiys lives a completely different life from you.

When being compared side by side, you two are the total opposites. Overall it’s the specific definition of a good girl with a sunshine personality falling in love with a bad boy who has an awkward humor trope.

Spending time and getting to know each other. Can the both of you answer that when opposites collide do they attract?

short sentence stacking as a stylistic choice

none of these belong to ai. these are all what human writers have been writing since day one, way before ai was invented. ai was trained to mimic how human writers write — so em dash, not x not y but z and short sentence stacking would never have been used by ai at all if ai hadn’t learned and mimicked them from human writers.

no, you are not “fighting against ai” by accusing every work that has em dash, not x not y but z or short sentence stacking in it as ai-generated, you are helping ai harm the writing community by engaging in witch hunt and scaring human writers away from creating/sharing their works for fear of being wrongly accused of using ai.

speculations, accusations and ai witch hunt harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.

Hello hello everyone!!

Does any of you know who wrote this story? I forgot the title of the story and kept looking for the author but couldn’t find her…

It was a kinda a long time ago when i have read this so the plot was a bit blurry.

It’s a Neteyam x Dark!Reader one and like Neteyam and the Reader is friends but then Neteyam met this girl and spent more time hanging out with her than reader, then reader was guilt tripping and manipulating Neteyam.

She also schemed in framing the girl for like being a two timer and something so Neteyam will avoid that girl. Then the girl like confronted Reader and was telling her that maybe Reader was a bad influence to Neteyam because he was avoiding that girl then reader was like “after all ive done to you yada yada” she cried and made the girl cry.

I was inspired by that plot and have a similar fic cooking so i wanted to find the author and talk to them and also give them credit😅 so if anyone knows please please please🙏

Sorry, this is a bit random but can you elaborate on what you mean by AI written metaphors? I mean I know that some people use AI to write fanfiction but how do you understand when they do it? Is there a way to know? I've always been curious

Oh yeah I just mean AI writing when I said ai-written metaphors as well, sorry for the confusion!

spotting ai writing is actually really easy. but my credibility is that as someone in the language education field i can immediately pinpoint it. ai checkers can be deceptive but when you read through dozens of slop in a week, you bet your pattern recognition picks stuff up. the writing overall is homogenous. very formulaic, overused sentence structures, phrases and words, repetitiveness. and repetitiveness here is the key. if one of these "tells" just happen to be there one-off like "not just x, but y", that is not ai. it has to be there over and over again that it sticks out. and it's not a matter of ai being trained on real writers either to counter. LLMs have very blatant tells, and it's not as banal and insignificant as em dash use. they have no character, idiosyncracies, style and heart that come from the writers themselves.
