A girl I liked convinced me to stab a man, so I did. Felt guilty for a bit, then promptly forgot about it and walked around with the murder weapon for a couple of hours, going about my business, walking my dog. Eventually I was cornered by a plainclothes police officer who asked me why I had a bloody knife; I told him I was looking after it for my bogan cousin. He said, “You’re under arrest,” and I was like,, “No, I’m not, watch this,” and then I woke up.

How are unhappy endings with the romanticizing of binge drinking, toxic relationship dynamics and predatory age gaps/sexualizing teenagers as near constant tropes in y'all’s LGBT representation anything more than propaganda reinforced for the purpose of destroying our community from the inside .

Y'all are now so obsessed with representation that y'all have disrespected Anne Frank’s father, spread rumors about Lupita and Janelle dating, allowed cop propaganda to serve you in your selfish search for bisexual rep, flirted with the idea of outing other celebrities, sexualized Mr. Ratburn as a joke, allowed hook up apps to trick you into thinking your value lies in your sex life, and forgotten that one of the purposes of our community is for the safety and future of people like us but now we have to deal with the fact that a lot of LGBT minors aren’t safe around a good number of LGBT adults because of unchecked predatory behavior being excused as kinks or preferences!!

How is it that every month… the lgbt community manages to one up itself in self destruction…. Nicki Minaj stans literally spreaded the nudes of a gay minor and outed him to the world just because they were mad he was keeping his sexuallity to himself and his family and wasn’t “giving Nicki enough props”. I am so disgusted in this community. On the anniversery of Stonewall, white gays tried to call the cops on a protesting black trans woman at Stonewall Inn…. Marriage Equality means fuck all and there is no such thing as compassion between us. WTF IS WRONG WITH YALL

Until now the Native American perspective has been left out of the telling of the Donner tragedy, not because the wel mel ti did not remember the pioneers, but because they were never asked, or perhaps were not ready to share. Their oral tradition recalls the starving strangers who camped in an area that was unsuitable for that time of year. Taking pity on the pioneers, the northern Washoe attempted to feed them, leaving rabbit meat and wild potatoes near the camps. Another account states that they tried to bring the Donner Party a deer carcass, but were shot at as they approached. Later, some wel mel ti observed the migrants eating human remains. Fearing for their lives, the area’s native inhabitants continued to watch the strangers but avoided further contact. These stories, and the archaeological evidence that appears to support them, certainly complicated my interpretation of the Donner Party event. The migrants at Alder Creek were not surviving in the mountains alone—the northern Washoe were there, and they had tried to help. (source)
