We had 2 people doing working interviews at my work this week and BOTH days there were weird *human* medical emergencies (non-staff) which happen so infrequently it was definitely very odd to have happened 2x in one week AND on interview days

Another funny Earl moment, as background- years and years ago I trained him to pick up a dropped item with the cue "can you get that?" It's not a trick we are doing all that often but we do use it on occasion. It's been quite awhile since either of us have asked that of him. Last night I was wearing some insanely short shorts like I would never let anyone other than my husband see me in these, they are basically underwear. But it was really hot out and it was just me and him hanging out at home. Jokingly I got my husband's attention before bending over to pick up a little piece of cardboard off the ground. I handed it to him and was like you must have dropped this. He took it and immediately threw it back on the ground and was like "can you get that?" Before I could move Earl materialized and snagged the cardboard.
