Alright I need to write down my thoughts before I loose my mind! Recently a group calling themselves The New Avengers appeared. I didn't really pay them much mind at first. Fisk's running for Mayor and they are his PR stunt group to reduce crime. But they just tried to kill my best friend today, and kidnapped them and their girlfriend. I've spent hours taking notes on everything I know.
The group is lead by a guy called U.S.Agent. The word play may be charming, but he is anything but. Guy's ruthless. Took his shield and crushed Spinne's neck in. He took a magic blast to the face and didnt flinch. With a bit of digging i found his real name. John Walker, former Marine and a fucking terrifying one at that! This guy took down Spell Spinne, and Green Goblin like it was nothing. Ran every scan I could on him and his past, nothing experimental. I work with Captain America, Black Widow, and the Hulk; all attempts to make a super soldier. This Walker guy has no ties to any of the experiments that made them. His entire biology is peak human. He also has a long list of reprimands on his record for a laundry list of reasons, mostly involving alcohol and women.
The one that confuses me the most is this girl, calls herself Eisen (Dont know if i'm spelling it correctly). She's using Arc Reactor tech. Tony's tech, my tech! Got in a personal scuffle with her, even had a little chat. She's probably using an algorithm or AI to run the calculations in her suit. Tony's got JARVIS, I got Friday, even Tony's childhood friend Oberon has an AI named Tatiana. It takes a genius to make an arc reactor, like quantum mechanics level genius, so please don't try making one in your garage. But each one is unique, emitting its own little energy signature. I ripped out her reactor in our fight, hopefully I can trace where she's been and where they took my friends. Another thing to note, her suit seems to have a back up reactor that glows orange. Might be a new element, might be fancy tinted glass. Her skills in using the suit do leave much to be desired however...
Everyone else on this team is a bit of an enigma not gonna lie. The only other one I had a direct confrontation with was this guy in a chrome mask and an awful fasion sense. Clint and Natasha recognized him pretty quickly, guess he was on SHIELD's hit list for a while. Calls himself Task Master. He's a professional mercenary, so I have no idea why he's teaming up with these guys. From what they told me, he has this uncanny ability to mimic and counter anything you throw at him. He's not a mutant, but something close to it.
These two go hand in hand from what I can tell. The press conference where these assholes were introduced called them Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Dr Strange immediately pegged Scarlet Witch as a magic user, which if true, makes her a massive threat. Magic is rare, powerful, and not easily controlled. The other guy, Quicksilver, he moves so fast its like he's teleporting. Gonna need counters to superspeed and fast. He definitely enjoys the spotlight more than Witch. Heard through Wasp, who heard through a mutant girl Zoë, that these two are mutants. Specially twins. Not sure how that will help me, but its important to note. Another weird thing, it seems like Witch really doesn't like her "hero costume" since I can't find her actually wearing it anywhere.
The last one I can find worries me the most. They only appears in the background when the New Avengers show up. They're definitely on the team, but its near impossible to get a clear view at them. But I'm a professional, and managed to clean one up. The real part that worries me is that the only person that knew anything about this person was Natasha. She calls them The Winter Soldier. She was convinced that they were just a myth... and I'd rather not say everything else she told me.... its scary!
