Keep learning and educating yourself on issues of race and injustice, listen to black and brown voices, continue to do what you can to support this movement, and remember to be kind. This movement requires all of us.

The goal isn't to scream "fuck you" even if it's how you feel, the goal is to waste their time and make it as miserable and difficult as possible for anyone who has to go through these claims to act on them

I think it's worth noting that if you ARE going to report something to the snitch line, yes you SHOULD use actual counties and zip codes, but...also try not to pick counties and places that are full of already marginalized people? I know it's tempting not to do that extra research but sending EXTRA government/police attention to BIPOC neighborhoods even in the name of trolling won't help.

So, here, let me help you with that pesky research. These are the ten most affluent neighborhoods in Texas. There are a LOT of politicians and celebrities that hail from these neighborhoods. Roe v. Wade Will Functionally Cease to Exist in Texas

This country hasn’t seen this kind of dystopian legal bullshit since Salem.

Access to almost all abortion has just been cut off for millions of people. The impact will be immediate and devastating.

The law bans abortion as early as six weeks into pregnancy — before many people even know they’re pregnant. The result is that many Texans will be forced to carry pregnancies against their will.

Private individuals — including anti-abortion activists with no connection to patients — can now sue ANYONE who they believe is providing abortion or assisting someone in accessing abortion after six weeks. 

This could include: 

Health care workers

Clergy

Rideshare drivers

The law doesn’t just allow these lawsuits — it actively encourages private individuals to act as bounty hunters by awarding them at least $10,000 if they are successful.

This is a racial and economic justice catastrophe. Decades of racism and structural inequality within the health care system have left Black and Latinx people and anyone trying to make ends meet with few alternatives to the cruel reality that Texas politicians have created.

This is a full-scale assault on patients, our health care providers, and our support systems. This abortion ban is blatantly unconstitutional. We won’t stop fighting until it’s blocked.

im serious about this though. as an urban indian, i definitely cant speak on this as much as a rez indian could. but i know from talking to rez friends i have and from what the american indian movement has screamed for over the years that we need land we can grow on, we need clean water, we need to allow the wildlife that once lived in this land to live here again (meaning you need to listen to us before building those high speed rails you all get so hard over).

Another 751 unmarked graves were found at a Saskatchewan residential school.

Seven hundred fifty one.

This school, The Marieval Indian Residential School, operated from 1899 to 1997.

It was one of the last residential schools to close in Canada. One of more than 130. 

In case you didn’t know, residential schools were created to “cleanse” the people of Canada. These schools operated from 1831, when the Mohawk Institute Residential School opened, to 1996, when residential schools were finally outlawed.

That is 166 years of cultural genocide.

An estimated 150 000 children attended these schools, and an estimated 6 000 children died at these schools (current records of death are incomplete) 

These children were beaten, sexually abused, even experimented on. They were treated like prisoners, like they were sub-human. 

A child’s likelihood of dying in a residential school was one in twenty-five. In comparison, a Canadian World War 2 soldier’s odds of dying were one in twenty-six. 

I am not Indigenous. I cannot pretend to know how painful this may be. But what I can do is speak out. This inhumane treatment of citizens of Canada must be condemned. 

The government of Canada, and The Catholic Church, must. make. reparations.

Israel’s latest airstrikes against Gaza, which resulted in the death of 24 people, including 9 children, is their latest escalation that follows their same old pattern - instigate endlessly (whether in Gaza, West Bank, or Jerusalem) until they encounter Palestinian resistance, and then let the slaughter commence.

This time, however, Palestinians are rising up from within Israel proper as well. The same Palestinians Israel is always tokenizing and parading around how “good” they have it are fed up and joining with the mass resistance that all started in Sheikh Jarrah.

There’s a lot of focus on Jerusalem and Gaza right now, as there should be, but the much bigger story that is going to fundamentally change Israel’s approach to Palestinians both within and outside of Israel is the resistance they’re encountering from within.

Netanyahu had to order battalions of Israeli occupational forces meant to serve in the West Bank to INTERNAL Israel cities to respond to what’s going on. This is big.

This also serves as yet another wake up call - Israel did /everything/ it could to shut down any forms of organized, coordinated Palestinian uprising…and yet spontaneous uprisings continue to occur.

I’m really, really hoping this momentum keeps up and more mobilize and join in - NEVER allow Israeli terrorist scum to feel comfortable in their occupation, dehumanization, and dispossession. NEVER allow the occupiers to grow complacent in their terror against us Palestinians.

Decolonization is never a non-violent endeavor - it can never be. Israel’s overwhelming military force and control will never be undone or defeated through “dialogue” or “negotiations”. Every stone that connects with IDF scum is decolonization. Every stone thrown against an IDF jeep is decolonization. Every bullet fired at an IDF soldier is decolonization.

You /cannot/ claim to stand for Palestinian freedom, liberation, and decolonization and ever call for Palestinians to do so “peacefully”. You do not respond to ethnic cleansing, the erasure of culture and history, and continued theft of land with “peaceful marches” and asking kindly.

You fight.

Even in the face of overwhelming odds, against an enemy that will slaughter you without thinking twice, you fight. Even if it means death, you fight.

Israel is being reminded of that tonight, and I hope it’s a reminder that doesn’t end any time soon.
