Kady seemed to have predicted every occasion Alice might need a dress in. Thankfully, the castle had wifi and Kady was more than happy to tell her what she was wearing that evening. Kady had picked out a red cocktail length dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace overlay bodice.
“I’m sorry but unless she ordered it, you cannot just waltz in here. I appreciate the sentiment but the books are too precious and precautions must be made.”
He promised to try the best he could to make her happy because neither of them chose to walk this path in the first place but he wanted them to choose to walk it together. She tearfully accepted and he kissed her. Truly kissed her.
But, she didn’t elaborate on all of that. All the world got to see was a picture of the two of them on instagram.

This is a page I colored for a monthly club contest on deviantart. I had to wait until it was over to share it so it didn't look like I was trying to bring in votes, but I wanted to share it because I took a more cell shaded approach, which is something I never do (also, linking like this because the line art belongs to another user)
Some OC’s just refuse to die, in more ways then one
I had computer problems the other day and couldn’t work on what I originally planned. So after pretending to clean up my art space for a while I ended up sketching my oldest surviving character, from a story I thought I abandoned forever up until a few months ago (and I may have wanted an excuse to draw a big fluffy skirt). Unfortunately it’s going to be a while before I can really work on her story… Back to more current projects for now!
