Hello, I'm Ana, she/they, bi. Hit 30, working on the flirty and thriving part LOL. Dove headfirst back into anime, but I'm trying to rekindle my love for the MCU too. Writer, check out my stuff on AO3 under the same name. ^-^
topping is actually gayer than bottoming because like the top is the one who's deciding again and again to put his dick in another man. The other guy could just be chilling. For all we know
Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
Tenko knew Katsuki had always been a rough kid with a smart ass mouth and the pride of someone much taller than him
There's no "but" to that sentence. Tenko thought the kid was bad news, but, much to his annoyance, his little brother Izuku seemed to look past these obvious flaws and followed Katsuki along with his other lackies
"Kacchan is amazing!" Izuku would say both to Tenko and to Katsuki's face. Tenko swears he saw Katsuki's head get bigger after the praise.
You'd think that having a friend like Izuku following you around would garner some special treatment. That Katsuki would see Izuku as his BEST friend, much like how Izuku says they are
You. Would. Think.
But no. Katsuki was all too eager to put down Tenko's baby brother just to make himself seem better. And no matter what Tenko tells Izuku or their mom, Izuku was all too eager to defend his friend and sing his praises
Tenko gave up at a certain point. They were basically babies. Surely one day, Izuku would grow out of it, so Tenko stopped interfering
That was, until Katsuki started getting more physical
All it took was one shove, and Tenko came marching over to set things straight. He didn't care that his mom would probably be disappointed in him for using his quirk like this, but at least all he was doing was lifting Katsuki up and away from his brother
and hitting him
In Tenko's defence, Katsuki threw an explosion at him first
Through the whole little fight, though, Tenko managed to get Katsuki to yell out what was bothering him and why he was being such an ass. Which led to Izuku crying out about how he "Never looked down on Kacchan! Not ever!" and how "I want to be a hero and save people by Kacchan's side!" all while he cried rivers
Which led to even MORE yelling and thrashing from Katsuki. Tenko had to fly the blond home to tell on him to Auntie Mitsuki, with Izuku running after them
THAT got Katsuki to quiet down real quick
In the end, their moms all got together for lunch to talk about what happened
Katsuki huffed and puffed through the whole thing, but did apologize (after a lot of yelling between him and Auntie Mitsuki), and both Tenko's mom and baby brother seemed all too happy to get things resolved (Much to Tenko's confusion and annoyance)
Not much has changed after that
Katsuki was still a cocky little runt, and Izuku still followed him around with stars in his eyes
Tenko thinks their friendship is weird. Always will
But after watching Katsuki beat up a bunch of older kids to defend Izuku, Tenko doesn't think the kid is all that bad
And besides, Tenko's found a new way to entertain himself outside of video games: Making fun of Kacchan
Slice of Life AU where Touya, Tenko, and Keigo are AU students and the big three
LORE DUMP:
Tenko is Izuku's adopted older brother. He has his original quirk and encouraged Izuku to go to UA to study to be a quirk analyst. Tenko is the main reason why Bakugo and Izuku are "best friends" still (As Izuku insists they are much to Bakugo's annoyance). He sorted out that misunderstanding at the river pretty early on and gets Bakugo to back off by saying Bakugo has a crush on Izuku and is just pulling his metaphorically pigtails
Bakugo denies this. Izuku thinks it's funny. Is generally just happy that him and Kacchan are on good terms
Both are friends with Shoto (Izuku says they are but Bakugo refuses to acknowledge this) through Touya and Tenko being friends
Touya is studying to be the number 1 hero purely to spite his father and shit on his career. But also because he wants Shoto to have a REAL hero to look up to (Their parents are divorced)
Keigo is still under the hero commission. He's an orphan but he works hard to be where he is now because he wants to be a hero for kids who were just like him. Though he says he wants to be a hero cause he wants to build a society where heroes have more free time
Oboro teaches class 3A and has dubbed Tenko his favorite student. Sees great potential in the kid though he's upset that Tenko's favorite teacher is still Aizawa from his first year. Aizawa finds the kid annoying but also saw great potential in him, but he cannot stand Tenko being his biggest and only fan cause he's so cringe about it
Izuku is in the general course and is pretty popular purely because he knows the big three. Tenko brags about his little brother being a genius quirk analyst and it inspired a lot of hero students to visit the general course and support course more often
Shouto visits Izuku often to talk about his quirk and how he can utilize it better. Brings his new friends along. But every time, without fail, Bakugo is always there first, already yelling at Izuku for one thing or another and arguing with him. Shouto tells his friends that it's normal and that those two are his bestest friends (Touya thinks it's hilarious when he says it ironically)
Keigo and Touya are pretty popular, Tenko is popular by proxy but likes to hang back away from the spotlight. He's not embarrassed by his cringe he is, shame means nothing to him. He just doesn't like the attention cause it takes focus away from what's important: League of Ledgends
He's been trying to convince the other two to call their trip the League of Flier or something along those lines, and he gets shut down every time
i love fic authors who are gooners with such closely held artistic sensibilities that it nearly eclipses the goon. we shall goon, but first we shall follow 70k minimum of a meticulously-plotted and spectacularly-executed character arc replete with several devastating psychological portraits and some trenchant political commentary on what it means to be a human in this world.
Now that I’m studying bio, may I just say how fervently I wish my primary association with the words “alpha, beta, omega” was literally anything other than what it is
My nutrition professor was talking about vitamins and said, “the only reason you all even know the words alpha and omega is because of sororities,” and I wanted so badly to raise my hand and be like “if you’re gonna be a dick for some reason, please let me explain to you in depth my immediate connotations for those words”
I’m in training to become a phlebotomist and at my last class we did blood typing and let me tell you when I walked into the lab to see A/B/O written in massive letters on the whiteboard I felt six years come off my lifespan
once I used a phrase alpha and omega of something during a lecture and one of the students giggled so hysterically I *knew* and I looked at her and she looked at me, and let me tell you, this was the most profound moment of horror and understanding I have ever shared with another person
Hey hey, as a librarian, can I just say don’t pace yourself at the library. I get a lot of customers saying “oh I shouldn’t get too many books out at once” but like you should!!!! Max out your card, take everything we have on a subject you’re interested in, make a book fort in your home. We love that shit! It doesn’t matter if you read them or not; just take them for an adventure and bring them back whenever they’re due!
For public libraries, one of the ways we secure funding year to year is lending. Governments don’t want to fund more books if they’re not being used and the way we measure use is by issues. Regardless of whether you read it or not, whether you have it for a day or a month, if you issue it to your library card, we get the stats! It makes the library look good!
Help your local library; get books out even if you know you can’t read them all!
