Seath the Scaleless

A dragon born as an aberration among powerful beings that possessed hard scales that granted them eternal life. Seath, however, lacked all of that and instead had smooth, pale skin, devoid of immortality. The imperfect and flawed Paledrake saw his brethren and felt their rejection, fueling resentment, envy, and a thirst for revenge within him.

And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the dragons were no more.

The pale beast was granted dukedom and a fragment of the Lord Soul, allowing him to remain among the Gods for fighting alongside them in the war against the eternal dragons. Seeking the secret of immortality, the Duke isolated himself in his vast library, an archive of knowledge. A quest that became an obsession and drove him to madness, leading him to commit cruel experiments that altered the very nature of life.
