racism runs so deeply in people that if you call it out you are calling out them, and instead of sitting down and examining their own racism they lash out at you for being sooo meansies to them. you don't even have to be talking about anyone's racist behavior in particular because it makes racists so uncomfortable they will come forward themselves and act like you're targeting them specifically. it's okay when they do it because they're doing it in the correct way, in the nice way! they don't mean it like that. in fact they're actually being progressive. you're the cruel one for acting like their racist behavior is racist. you're the problem if you're bothered by their comfort racism. you're the bitchy colored person who makes eeeverything about racism when it so clearly isn't. i'm fucking sick of this.
We need more of this. Public shaming in front of their families. The nerve of the war-criminal: please don't tell my children I played a huge role in the mass-murder of children.

Hola, actualmente hay incendios en San Juan, que empezaron en la tarde del 17 de julio, se creen que aunque hayan sido esparcidos y beneficiados por el viento Zonda, fueron intencionales. Los incendios empezaron en Pocito (o al menos fue la zona mÃĄs afectada), y han habido evacuaciones preventivas por la gravedad del asunto. SegÚn 0264 Noticias las zonas mÃĄs afectadas fueron Rawson, Pocito, JÃĄchal, Valle FÃĐrtil, Calingasta y Sarmiento. No se reportan personas muertas mÃĄs sà animales, ademÃĄs de pÃĐrdidas de viviendas y un taller mecÃĄnico, ademÃĄs de 7 hectÃĄreas de pastizales.

El incendio afectÃģ 30 hectÃĄreas, empezando en Estancia Grande y extendiÃĐndose hasta Potrero de los Funes. TambiÃĐn se cree que fue intencional. Actualmente estÃĄ controlado segÚn un artÃculo que logrÃĐ encontrar, pero es difÃcil encontrar info al respecto.
La informaciÃģn al respecto es limitada y tratÃĐ de conseguir distintas fuentes, la mayorÃa siendo diarios locales. Por las condiciones climÃĄticas estos incendios bien podrÃan ser simples accidentes y coincidencias, pero el clima polÃtico me hace dudar de que eso sea 100% cierto. Sometimes, time seems to move in a vicious cycle, repeating itself in a painfully astonishing manner, as if mocking humanity's ability to learn from its mistakes. Two images are separated by 79 years, yet they appear as though no time has passed, as if the gap between them is merely a few fleeting moments.
The first image: A Palestinian elder holding the keys to his home, from which he was forcibly displaced after the Nakba of 1948. An image filled with pain, with tears that dried on faces, and hearts that collapsed under the weight of loss. Yet, hope for return still filled those hearts.
The second image: A recent photo that tells the same story, but this time, the protagonist is my young sister, Maryam, holding the keys to our home from which we were displaced and demolished after the Nakba of 2023.
There is no difference between the two stories, except that this time, the story is even harsher and more painful.
