I'm way late from the making of this I know but hello! My name's Iole, I'm a storyteller interested in fantasy and horror and always looking to hone in on writing both.
This blog was originally dnd oriented but I've since slid it over to a focused writing/concept blog for Trufulla, incorporating the above themes into a comic. Which has so far meant writing a TON of scripts and experimenting with writing styles so they're just as descriptive as the comic slides will be.
Trufulla is about what happens when magic woven through the very foundation of a world begins to fester. When a horrible sickness begins to crop up in Trufulla, many begin to fall ill, festering and oozing black that never seems to end.
When a dear friend falls ill shortly after returning home to Olwen, a life cleric decides to take the matter into their own hands and set off traveling across Trufulla to get to the bottom of things. In researching the sickness, discoveries are made about secrets long hidden, even beyond the gods. Can a cure be found before it's too late, or will Trufulla succumb to darkness?
I've already posted a few wips here and I've got a backlog of aesthetic posts about the main characters, the regions, and the gods! If anyone has questions about the history or the world building I'd love to be hit up, but in the mean time I'd just enjoy the company while I continue developing the characters and work towards the ending!

Some Dumb Ideas I Had
-We faked a proposal for free dessert and we aren't even dating but wow that was at our favorite restaurant so now when we go alone we get asked about each other and haha, we aren't even that close but we're too deep in this now so I guess we gotta do this right and keep getting free dessert.
-I work at a pet store and you paid me to groom your pet and they seem to like me so it was all fine until your pet somehow got us stuck in a 101 Dalmatians situation with their leash and it's awkward cause we're the only ones in the grooming station and wow we're really close and you're really cute and we’re really stuck how are we going to get help.
-I was told to do something spontaneous on a company trip to some tropical paradise and I have some scuba diving tickets from when my boss gave them to me so I decided to do it and now I'm here and you’re my instructor and also really hot and I think I might have won your heart a little by giving you an oyster with a pearl in it.
-We're both constantly asked if we're dating anyone yet by our parents and then one of our friends gets married so we have to bring a date and we decide to go together for the thing and it's actually really nice even if we're not that close and then one of us caught the bouquet so we're getting watched on our fake relationship.
-I'm a barista and I really like making foam drawings and you always come in and you're always so grumpy looking so I'm putting extra effort so the foam drawings make you laugh one day and the one time I make you laugh is when I accidentally mess up your name on the order but that's okay because you finally laughed and it's really nice to hear.
-I'm secretly really into crappy fantasy love stories and you're my favorite author and I have no idea who you are and we start hanging out and then you invite me to a really cool fantasy LARP and I go then over the course of the event I might be in love with how dorky you are and you also fought for my hand in a jousting competition.
I want to apologise to
- Britney for making fun of her when she had her breakdown
- Monica Lewinski for judging her when she was a 22year old temp sexually assaulted by the most powerful man in the world
- Ke$ha for ever thinking she was trashy when all she wanted to do was make party music
- Kristen Stewart for ever thinking she was dumb when she’s actually one of the coolest people ever
- Megan Fox for ever thinking she was just a slut when actually she was an actress being harassed by her employer.
- Hating all the women who made a career out of having a hot body. Being is shape is hard, beauty is a weapon and auto promotion is hard work.
- All the Mary-Sues, who exist because young girls everywhere want to be part of a story they love so much
- All the female characters I ever snobbed because they got in the way of my ship.
- Hating the color pink during my teenage years, when it’s actually a lovely color and what I resented was society’s pressure to perform femininity.
