Iâm re-writing my intro because Iâve finally come up with a title for my WIP, and Iâve got different graphics now that fit in with the dark fantasy that I write a bit better than loads of cutesy pink!
So, you can call me Eleanora Rose. Iâm 30, from the UK, and I use they/them pronouns. I write dark fantasy, sometimes with a humorous twist, and sometimes with just pure grimdark vengeance coursing the the storyâs veins.
I like cats, the dulcet tones of Hozier, swearing, spiting my enemies, and the combination of opals and garnets. My favourite book is The Priory of the Orange Tree and I love the Dragon Age game series.
I donât like capitalism and my curious ability to kill any and every plant I try to grow (all I long for is to be a plant parent!).
On this blog, youâll find snippets of my WIP as well as flash fiction based in its universe and posts detailing some of its worldbuilding. Iâm also a big fan of shitposts and sharing tips and resources for writers.

Blood and Water: The Olrion Series, Book One
Braddik wasnât like other dwarves. He was six foot two. One a quest to find his father, who he knows nothing about, Braddik must traverse Olrion. Picking up a rag-tag team of companions, Braddik begins to learn that the continent isnât quite as bright as some would paint it to beâsomething heâs already familiar with from his native Dwarfesbörg.
Elenia, a mysterious and decisive elf with skin almost as dark as her jet black eyes, is Braddikâs first companion. But what is she hiding?
Retruk, a goblin that parted ways with their clan on terms worse-than-bad, also joins the party. They simply want a bit of company, is all. Plus they can throw a mean fireball, and surely that will help on our heroes adventure, right?
Join the queer-as-heck trio in their epic journey that span an entire continent filled with magic, mayhem, corruption, and a good bit of knowing humour, too.
