(quick warmup sketch) sokka talkin' about something for 15 minutes straight and zukos trying really hard to listen but he's too confused and/or tired to understand what he’s talking about

i am back from the dead this time with zukka

my lack of basic practice is showing in how long it takes me to complete stuff right now, but the end results are still fun. i just wish it didn't take 20+ hours to get to this output. the lack of practice is showing in other places that i am very aware of but i won't harp on them.

absolutely obsessed with the colors on this one oh my looord. i had to reign myself in from doing some crazy lighting stuff, but if i ever go back to this i will absolutely do some more rendering and play with lighting. i have the layer with my alternate coloring still in the procreate file waiting for me to come back to it.

i'm also in the process of opening a redbubble if anyone is interested! if there are better platforms i should know about, please tell me, redbubble just had the lowest barrier to entry so i slapped some stuff on there real quick today and my account is in the review period. is inprnt any good?

i'm also always a bit scared to have the audacity to try and sell fanart of copywritten characters, but it's the only art i have right now and plenty of other people have the audacity so,,, 😬

thinking about making a vgen account, but i'm not entirely sure yet what i would offer because i feel like i need way more practice before i feel comfortable doing commissions. i think that will be for a little later down the line when i feel more comfortable doing quick sketches and doodles digitally, because i'm still not there yet .

regardless i am a poor student + i need some semblance of any income at all that i can achieve remotely so,,, i have a kofi! i don't have any rewards system set up (i don't think that's really the point of kofi anyway), nor am i expecting literally anything, but since kofi has membership options, i'm thinking about setting that up in the future as well!

One night, the two of them were sitting on the sofa watching a movie when Zuko leaned against him; when Sokka asked, "Are you sleepy?"

Zuko gave a half-hearted "Mm, not really." A little while later, Zuko stole a glance at Sokka's face and planted a kiss on his chin, causing Sokka to squirm and laugh, ticklish, as he said, "Hey, focus on the movie!"

Zuko leans further forward, straddling Sokka and cupping his cheeks in both hands before kissing him on the lips.

Sokka feels his face flush as he imagines what is to come, meeting Zuko’s searching gaze that seems to ask if he shares the same feelings.

After gazing into each other's eyes for a moment, Sokka places his hands on Zuko’s waist to steady him and presses his lips against Zuko’s once more, reciprocating the sentiment.
