I think the anime is doing pretty well, personally; my biggest problem (and honestly, my only one!) with Ash is HOW HE DOESN'T LEARN OR UTILIZE HIS TYPE MATCHUPS. I'm still kind of bitter about his first Gym battle to be honest, though that one is mostly just me being a Poke-gaming prick tbh

You get the S.S. Ticket after going on a date with your rival at the end of the Delta Episode, but there is no Battle Frontier (yet), instead it's the Battle Resort (basically just the Battle Maison 2.0)

Am I the only one who thinks shiny hunting, legendary collecting and overbreeding are kind of wastes of time?
Like seriously. I'd rather play the game and finish the Dex than spend 13 hours in the same exact patch of grass/restarting the game over and over trying to get a single shiny. I'll save that for when I've actually run out of things to do.

It was one of those Pokemon that appear in spots but are not in the Hoenn dex so there’s no info on it.
The reason it isn't listed in the Hoenn dex is because you have to go to Littleroot and get the National Dex.
So when I was a kid the first random shiny Pokemon I ever caught was a shiny Oddish in my Ruby game, I ended up evolving her into a Bellossom and trading her for the Corsola in Pacifidlog thinking it’d be shiny. My hypothesis proved incorrect but the risk was taken for science! So I was playing...
It's still a thing! Though I can't remember which house she's in, I did see her. (I only said no to the trade because at that point my Bellossom had become one of my main team members...)

Post-game once you've updated the Pokedex, you can find them on the route between Rustboro and Rusturf Tunnel. (I've caught like 20! Once you find your first one, they're super easy.)
