tohru blinked a few times, looking at the new face in front of    her. they didnât look familiar to her, but then again it was very    possible that she had seen them a few times and just didnât    remember.
â â iâm sorry, are you new? â
Was she being stared at? Green eyes discretely peered from left to right before meeting with the large orbs of the girl before her. It was definitely Emiko she was staring at...but why? And then came her question. âUh--not that Iâm aware of, no.â
The Student Council is most of the reason the Fruits Basket Anime fills me with rage.Â

@theflyingpotchirps âHow the hell did I get stuck with this damn box.â Black brows furrowed over a fierce looking set of emerald eyes. âSaid I didnât know where this damn room is and Iâm still wandering the halls.â A long sigh passed parted lips, before she came upon another hallway and yet another string of descending numbers. Perhaps the third time would be the charm... Emiko Takahashi had never bothered getting into the political buzz that went on with Kaibara. Honestly, she couldnât care less about who was in office or what exactly it was that they were doing. It almost always tended to be a popularity contest. Oh--that reminded her that she did know one name and that, of course, was the President. Yuki Sohma. There wasnât a single person in that school who didnât know his name. This, of course, only reinforced the whole âpopularity contestâ theory. When it came to school, however, Emiko honestly wasnât involved in all that much. It wasnât any surprise she didnât know where the extra-curriculars were held and it was no surprise she found herself lost. This was no uncommon occurrence for the petite female. She had no idea why she was asked to carry these files there, anyway. Her teacher had got them himself, hadât he? It only made sense that he took them back. They were always preaching about the students having to be âmore independentâ and how âthey werenât their parents. They werenât going to do everything for themâ and yet they always asked students to run their own errands. Emiko had been quick to explain she wasnât certain where the room was but it seemed like that was somehow mistaken as a âyesâ and before she knew it a box was shoved into her hands and her quest had begun. Emiko was a particularly small young woman, both in height and stature. It was no surprise, then, that she found herself shifting the weight of the heavy box within her grasp, a grunt escaping her. A leg lifted up to prop the box on while she pushed a curly raven-colored lock out of her pale face. If she was at this much longer she had half the mind to march back to the classroom, drop the box on his desk and simply leave. They were already after hours. She should have been making her way back home by now! âI have to be close.â Were the exasperated words that passed her lips when her walking once again began. She was just about to deem the situation hopeless when she then heard noise coming from a nearby room. She had found a sudden spring in her step drawing her near the room in question. When a figure came into sight, she made no hesitation to see if she had the right place. She had went to raise a hand, but found that banging the door with the tip of her foot worked much better. It was after that (and some shifting) that she decided to simply let herself in. The door had swung open, and there she stood at the doorway. Now that she was here, she wasnât particularly sure what on earth to say. She was, in fact, intruding. âUh--â God. Now she wished that she had been thinking about how she would approach the student council rather than how pissed she was that she even had to come here. She found herself clear the lump from her throat, and opened her mouth once more to speak, hopefully this time it would be more successful. âI have these files... I guess they were taken from here? I was told youâd know what to do with them.â

"I love bed and breakfasts. They're so quaint."
"I'm sorry, baby. Shush, I didn't mean it, baby."
"I'll see you, in hell, _____! I WILL SEE YOU IN HELL!"
"When you say that, I feel like you're trying to hurt my feelings."
"Oh my god! Why do you talk so SLOW?!"
"Wow, that resolved nothing. Let's rewind, shall we?"
"I hope they're using protection, because I am not taking care of that baby."
"I will punch you. Again, and again, and again, and-"

"I don't know if I told you this, but I had a horrible childhood."
"Yeah, I'm sorry about the pizzas. What d'you want instead?"
"I don't need a boy to pay attention to me. I'll pay attention to myself."
"No one who had a great childhood stands like that."

One of the best scenes in film history
this is iconic
Clumsy was a word that could be used to describe miss Emiko Takahashi. Now she wasn't always this way, so quick to screw up and ruin things but she most certainly had her days. From her appearance you would think she was anything but. Thin, pale, with a height of only 5'2; even the way she walked was elegant and graceful her curled locks swaying with each gentle movement. To think she could be so accident prone was honestly something rather surprising.  Her father had always told her it was just bad luck striking at wrong times. He was most certainly just trying to make up for the fact she was a klutz.  Her day proved that he was incorrect; for from the moment she had awoken things were an absolute disaster.  All before eight thirty she had managed to trip, skid her knees, rip a pair of her favorite knee high socks, and stumbled into work out of breath. She had made it on time...but was most certainly disheveled.  The work day itself had been rather normal. She worked at the register for a bit and at the end of her shift she had begun to stock some of the shelves, and move some of the potted plants around. However, what Emiko hadn't taken care to notice, was the fact it had been pouring for most of the day. Because of the rain, each person who had entered the shop managed to take water with them. And they were so kind to do so, because while she was carrying a plant, her feet went right from beneath her. After a few moments had past she found herself lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling with a rather lost look on her face. When her wits finally began to return, she realized she had a towel clamped against her had by Mrs. Kobayashi, who looked beyond worried. Well...looked like she wasn't getting a good nights sleep tonight less she wanted to risk slipping into a coma. Emiko had insisted on cleaning up the mess she managed to make, but her boss was oh so insistent on her going home and resting. She was already over her shift already. And with a bleeding head she wouldn't particularly be too useful. So with a defeated sigh, she had begun her walk home.  On the way she had purchased some bandages to wrap up that awful wound staring other's in the face, and that was at least something good she could claim happened, she had the money on her for that. And on further inspection, she seemed to have just enough for, perhaps, a little treat.  So with a turn of her heels and had begun her journey to find a nice little place to pick up some take out.  Now that the rain had stopped, and the clouds cleared away, Emiko had noted that it was actually a rather lovely evening. It was cool; calm. It was enough to even allow her to forget the aching in her head and leg for a short amount of time.  Perhaps this bad luck was finally breaking.
