Jester. A good dog. March 29, 2009 - May 10, 2025.

We got Jester the summer between my sixth and seventh grade. I was 12. As we first played with him, we already decided on a name: Jester. (My 8-year-old brother’s decision, inspired by an obscure Spiderman villain, of course). Still, we reminded ourselves that we wouldn’t be able to take this puppy home. We were leaving for Poland in just a few days, and a little dog like him wouldn’t be waiting for us when we got back.

Only, he was. And he was so excited to see us again. And then he stayed with us another 16 years after that.

I miss you Jester. It’s already been a week and I miss you.

I’ve noticed some similarities between the two for a while now (I used to watch reruns of the Munsters a lot when I was a kid), but admittedly had trouble deciding whether Grandpa should be Alfred or Ra’s.

Ziya Fakhoury is a bit of a people pleaser. It’s a trait that’s helped her become the newest Representative in her district’s Energy Council, but seems to hinder her everywhere else. During a routine pick-up for their temporary capsule-delivery job, Ziya is caught underground in the rubble of a geothermal power plant. How will she make her way to safety, especially when accompanied by Mason, the plant’s most brash, irritable engineer?

This is a trial comic for us, and though we originally intended for it to play out in full, we quickly became enamored with (ie: distracted by) another idea following a submarine crew in outer space. So, three episodes is all the plot you're gonna get. Still, CG taught us a lot and we'll definitely update y'all with some concept art, storyboards, & character profiles.
