“Hey..” She smiled a little bit, reaching for the blonde she brought her into a friendly hug. “Want to get something to eat or anything?” The hug lingered and maybe that was her fault because she was taking in Imogen’s scent. Pulling away a moment later. “I’ll do whatever you want.”

Nina was still very cut up about Gina and Adrian. It was so horrible and she was also thinking a lot about the stuff she’d found in Gina’s drawer, hidden away at the bottom… but she didn’t want to worry Emma with it especially right now, and what was the point anyway? The woman was gone. “Hey…” She smiled lightly, looking up after Emma kissed her neck. “I’m okay.” She said, shrugging. She was. It had been a nice day so far and she loved being with her family, in their house. “I dunno, probably just Elliott.” She said, though whether or not he’d drag Tara was beyond her. She doubted her dad would be bothered. “Did the babies go down okay?”

Emma knew that her wife was going through a hard time. And she hated that she wasn’t able to help her. Honestly Emma wished that she could do more somehow. She placed another kiss onto her neck. “You sure? You know you can talk to me about anything. I’m here for you.” She told her softly, before moving to sit down next to her. “If he does drag your mum along are you going to be okay with that?” She questioned, reaching for Nina’s hand. “That they did surprisingly. I think we just wore them out this morning.”

“Yeah, trust me, I can relate.” He chuckled, looking in at the twins and then back to her. “You doing alright otherwise?”

“And just how are the twins?” She reached for her coffee, bringing it to her lips to take a sip. “Yeah, I’m trying to figure out when I should go and see Victoria. She’s still refusing to speak with the police until she talks to me.”

“I can only imagine.” She smiled, looking over at the sleeping babies.

“If Aunt Andie wants to take them for a couple of hours, I’m not complaining.” She smiled before taking a sip of her coffee.

“It isn’t easy but having Nina helps a lot.” She sighed a little bit. “If Aunt Evie wants to take them for a couple hours I certainly wouldn’t protest.”

“Sure.” She shrugged, glancing at the babies and then back to Emma. “I can imagine.” Even sometimes when Brooklyn stayed over it was still difficult to settle her.

“It’s not easy at times but it helps that I have Nina.” She took a sip of her coffee before looking over at Molly for a moment. “How is Imogen and your brother doing? With everything that happened.”

“It’s no problem.” Ingrid said with a small smile. “They look so sweet. How old are they?” she asked the woman.

“Thanks again.” Emma took a small sip and smiled over at her for a moment. “They will be eleven months soon.”

‘No worries, I had accidentally ordered a second one and wasn’t going to drink any of it.” Joan told her before looking at the babies, “ Oh I bet. Besides the lack of sleep how is everything?”

“Thank you again.” Emma smiled over at her for a moment before taking a small sip of the coffee. “Besides the lack of sleep things have been okay. I’m trying to figure out the best time to go and speak to Victoria Hale.”

Emma had made them some breakfast for them, and fed the twins. And then they had opened presents. It seemed like this past month had been horrible for her wife, and she hated that. Honestly she felt guilty about the Imogen stuff, and she would check on the blonde later. Right now, today was about her family. The people that really needed her. After the twins were down, she moved out into the living room and went over to Nina, leaning down she wrapped an arm around her shoulders. Placing a small kiss onto her neck. “Hey, baby. How are you feeling?” She questioned softly, placing another kiss onto her neck. “Are your parents coming over later? Or is it just Elliott? I know my mother and Brendan will probably be over later.”
