Ever since you started at Hogwarts, a lot of rumors spread about you. You got a lot of attention from your classmates, but even more from your housemates. It only took a few months for you to fall in routine with two other Slytherin boys. The three of you would cause all sorts of chaos together.
At first Sebastian didn't fully understand you. You would drop everything to help him with his quest to save his sister, you learned braille to write letters to Ominis and, no matter who asked you, you never played into the interests of any of the girls.
You were friendly with them but when you rejected Poppy's advances for a date, everyone suddenly understood a part of you that you were trying to hide. You knew that two people knew for sure. Poppy and Imelda.
Poppy though you didn't think she was good enough for you and spent three days ignoring you, so to save your friendship, you came out to her. Imelda just so happened to be there but both of them promised not to tell anyone.
Sebastian on the other hand, had grown suspicious of the way you acted, especially the way you acted around Ominis.
You were a completely different person. You were shy. He had never taken you as the shy type but when you told Ominis that you learned braille, it seemed to put that missing piece into place.
Sebastian sat in an armchair across from you two, pretending to read the book you picked up in the Scriptorium a few weeks back. The two of you sat on the couch near the fireplace. Sebastian was amused at the warm tint on Ominis' face, his eyes focused on his text book.
"What book is that?" You ask, reaching out to touch the cover without permission.
Ominis stiffens at the pressure on the book. Sebastian knew you were practicing braille, he was with you when you bought out most of the books on it.
"Oh." You smile. "It's your potions textbook. Sorry." You blush, clearly embarrassed, and withdrawal your hand to scratch the back of your neck.
"You- you can read braille?" Ominis turns to you, pale face, dusted in rose. Sebastian puts his book down to look at the two of you with a curious glint. Watching.
You give a nervous chuckle, "Yeah I've been practicing on my free time. Sebastian has been helping me out. I'm not that good yet."
Your normally confident and impulsive persona is swapped out for a bashful grin. Clearly you were going to wait to tell Ominis that you spent what little free time you had to learn something that in no way benefited you.
"He bought out all the books at Tomes and Scrolls when we were in town a few weeks ago. I practice with him when I have time. No surprise (Y/n) is quick to catch on. Makes me wonder if he was put in the right house Ominis." Sebastian butts in, earning a glare from his seeing friend, nonetheless he shrugs it off.
After following the direction of the voices, Ominis directs his attention to you, "So you are learning braille for me?"
The blush on both boy's face makes Sebastian chuckle. Sometimes his best friends acted so strange around each other.
"Y-yes. Yeah I did. I can't fathom why though." You admit.
A though occurs to Sebastian and without being able to stop himself, he speaks his thoughts out loud. "Maybe you have a crush on him."
Sebastian's eyes widen, realizing what he just said and the look you give him only confirms it.
"(Y/n)?" Ominis says, but its too late.
Embarrassed, you rush out of the common room, without another word.
After that, Sebastian accidentally caused a rift between you two. He felt bad outing you. You could have handled it if Sebastian outed you to anyone else but he outed you to Ominis, who you did, in fact, have feelings for.
You knew it would never happen between you and Ominis. He was a pureblood, a direct decadent to Salthazar Slytherin himself. He was to marry another pureblood and have a bunch of pureblood babies. A life you couldn't have. There was no way you would be able to settle down and marry a nice girl, give her a family. It would drive you mad.
You were so lost in the scenario in your head you crashed into someone in the halls before you could turn the corner to DADA.
"Sorry I was-"
"Do you mind-" Imelda started, pausing to look at you. "(Y/n)? Are you okay? You look like your sick."
"I-" You were going to tell her you were fine but the two hushed voices hidden around the corner made you stop.
"Why don't you just tell him? I'm sure (Y/n) would understand." Sebastian said, midway through a conversation with Ominis. About you...
"Because he didn't say he was-" Ominis catches himself and leans in to whisper to Sebastian, "He never said he was into men. Maybe he was insulted by the notion you though he was!"
You look at Imelda, who stares at you wide-eyed. She didn't need to ask what this was about now.
"What happened?" She mothed. You shake your head and wrap your arms around yourself. You shrug and shoo her away.
"Okay but if you told him how you felt then the two of you could stop acting as if the other doesn't exist."
"Why? So my parents could find out about this from Professor Black?" Ominis seemed angered by this.
"Ominis..." Sebastian starts.
You walk around the corner, revealing yourself to them. Sebastian's whole demeaner changes.
"(Y/n)! Hey! Are you done avoiding us like the plague?"
Ominis spins on his heals, facing you, and wiping the initial shock off his face. "(Y/n) what a pleasant surprise."
"Can I talk to you guys. Alone."
The duo nod and lead you to the Undercroft. The two of them stand next to each other, Sebastian glancing between you and Ominis. You start to pace, unsure of how to start this conversation.
"I'd like to say that I'm sorry for avoiding you. That wasn't fair for either of you."
"It's fine, really." Sebastian says crossing his arms.
"Can you not interrupt me?" You stop pacing to turn on him. He holds his hands up in surrender and you continue, "Thank you. First this can not leave this room. If people knew-" Your chest tightens, "I don't know what I would do."
You take a breath, trying to battle your anxiety with a hand over your chest, gripping at the lapels of your uniform, "I am... homosexual."
"Told you." Sebastian nudges Ominis, who blushes.
"And I do have a crush on you." You look at Ominis as he take in the confession. "But I have lived my whole life being okay with being alone. So don't feel like this changes anything. I can't loose you because of this too."
You stop, looking between your best friends. Ominis processing this and Sebastian has never looked more smug. Like he knows something you don't. He did.
"I-I like you too actually." Ominis stuttered out. "but this cannot get out. If my parents-"
"I get it." You sigh, "If they knew you liked boys it would ruin you."
You look down at your feet, trying to hide the disappointment from Sebastian. Ominis couldn't see your face but Sebastian knew it would break his best friends heart.
The silence that follows makes Ominis walk up to you. You don't bother to meet his blank eyes, assuming it would be easier to not watch your crush leave. Instead Ominis surprises everyone in the room when he gently finds your cheek, causing you to meet his cloudy stare.
"It's not you. I don't care that you're gay. It's your blood status. If my father finds out I'm dating a half blood he'll surly kill us both."
Summary: With everyone ignoring you and your best friend still sick, you snap at Sebastian, while Ominis thinks of a way to fix this mess they pulled you into.

A/n: Yeah so this one is hella long but also will have other parts :) Feel free to leave requests. I have too much free time this week and will see what I can do.
You try to be supportive. For Anne. Be there for Sebastian when he needed you. You knew this road he was down was a dangerous one and despite both you and Ominis begging him to be careful- to protect him yourselves, he still was set on a path of destruction with his new best friend. You knew it hurt Ominis more then you that Sebastian spent the whole year choosing someone he just met over the lifetime the two boys shared. Sebastian knew something about this character that you and Ominis couldn't puzzle out.
Often you and Ominis would sit in the Undercroft later at night and whisper about what you could so to clear Sebastian from the crimes he has already committed with this new student. Thinking of new lies to cover up where those two went sometimes. Ominis didn't want to get his best friend in trouble and you couldn't watch Ominis beat himself up over something that was not even his fault. Though you did have far less involvement in the matter then the pale blonde, since he helped them find the relic in the first place, but he was already blaming himself for that so voicing it would only earn you a sarcastic remark and make him fall deeper into the hole he helped these two dig.
You tried everything. All of the lies and cover ups are catching up to you and Ominis and after they used the Cruciatus curse on you, then the Imperius curse on Ominis, it was only a matter of time before Sebastian's new accomplice used the killing curse on somebody. Your paranoia was unavoidable nowadays. You felt there were people around you who knew what the two of you were up to.
You think about running from this. Hiding from the suspicious eyes of professors and students alike. Who knows what these criminals are up to now? Where are they? Who else has this power-driven newbie dragged down with them? You can't focus on studying for your OWLS due to the stress Sebastian's new escapades have clawed into your chest.
It has gotten to the point that Ominis has started to hide things from you. You feel betrayed by the way two boys you've know most of your life cast you aside so easily. Now the only one who tells you anything is Anne.
You miss her everyday. Just being able to take a break from the boys and gossip with another girl. The school still has a spot for her in the dorms. Your dorm. A clean made bed with fresh linins that haven't been in use all year. When you miss her the most you sit on her bed, her name carved into the wooden post of the bed.
Tonight you cant sleep, you can't handle the feelings anymore and go downstairs to sit at the window. Keep your mind off everything by listening to the water bubbling by the underwater bay window. It is very much your spot so being nearly one in the morning you were not expecting a certain brunette to be sitting there with a strange book.
"What? Telling everybody in our year about the Undercroft wasn't enough for you, you had to steal my spot to?" You snap at him, causing Sebastian to startle before meeting you hard gaze.
"No, I though you would be with Ominis at this hour. And I didn't tell everyone about the Undercroft, just one other." He says, giving you attitude right back with ease.
"Save it. I don't care that much, and why do you think I'd be with Ominis? Did he not tell you?" Your line of questioning confuses him. You scoff. "Oh let me guess. Too busy replacing him with someone who actually enjoys your obsessions?"
"Enjoys?" He puts his book down to talk to you, "Maybe if you and Ominis were more willing to help I wouldn't have had to find someone who was." His anger is evident in his loud tone.
"You are unbelievable you know that." You counter him with a whisper, "I miss her everyday. between you and that- that fifth year making problems for the rest of us and Ominis trying to stop you from getting arrested I have been left with no one. Have you even asked your sister about what she wants? Have you even seen her? I mean of course you have. With your new best friend! In Feldcroft before Holiday Break. Four months ago." You stop, catching your breath.
"She is MY sister! No one misses Anne more then I do (Y/n)! I just want what's best for her." He argues.
You roll your eyes, "You want what's best for you Sebastian. Stop going around pretending you care about anyone but yourself. You-"
"Will you two shut it!" Ominis causes both you and Sebastian to turn and face him. "If you don't you will surly wake the whole house. Not to mention it is way past curfew and neither should be down here."
Sebastian grabs his book off the window seat and shoves past you to the boys dorm, knocking into your shoulder as he storms off.
You turn to face Ominis, his face blank, still in his school uniform. "How much of that did you hear?" You use a softer tone with the blonde then you did with his friend.
"I was there the whole time. Waiting for you actually. I'm blind not deaf." He gives a soft smile.
"Sorry." You whisper, embarrassed about your outburst.
"Don't be. I whole-heartedly agree with you."
You smile at him.
"However I think there is a time and place to do it."
Your face drops again and with your help, you guild Ominis to sit with you in the bay window.
"When was the last time you two spoke?" Ominis asked, cocking his head to the side.
The last time you have even seen Sebastian was the night at the Scriptorium. You tagged along, much to the dismay of the rest of the party. Sebastian and his companion were more annoyed then anything else, but Ominis was enraged the agreed to let you tag along. When they tried to talk him into using an Unforgivable, on you no less, he was fuming, ranting about you safely and how those two dodo-brains put you in danger. Since then both Sebastian and Ominis have been keeping you at arms length. Ominis less so, he will still have dinner with you and sit with you in classes you still have together but any of his free time is devoted on keeping his only other friend out of Azkaban.
No one really worried about you. Maybe they should have. It wasn't fair on you and Ominis for your only group of friends to split in several different directions and expect a blind guy to fumble the ground for the pieces.
"(Y/n)?" He reaches for your hand. As if you left him. As if you evaporated into smoke.
"That night we went into the Scriptorium." You let him slip his hand into yours, and, though its a platonic gesture, you blush. Hard.
'(Y/n) that was months ago."
"I know." You sigh, "Haven't seen much of our troublemaker since then. Seems he's been avoiding me. Or perhaps I am avoiding him."
"Well then. He definitely deserved that tantrum you threw." Ominis snickers.
You smack his shoulder, "It was not a tantrum!" You huff, but his smile makes you give one in return.
"I would call it a tantrum." He rubs circles into your hand, staring into the blankness that is the other side of the common room. Not that he know.
"Why were you waiting down here for me? We only ever talk in class now. These meeting only happen when Seb did something wrong." You change the subject, trying to not argue with the only person who still makes an effort to talk to you nowadays.
Ominis shakes his head, "I think they're planning something."
He pauses and you wait for him to continue, knowing it'll be something bad. Your chest tightens with rising anxiety.
"I might need your help to stop him- them," He corrects, "When they went to the catacombs, he was looking for this relic. I think they found it. Sebastian is going back in a few days to test it. he thinks it can cure Anne."
"I think we should stop helping those two. Let them dig their own graves Ominis." You cut him off before he can explain further.
"Listen I have to go. Not for Sebastian but for Anne. I don't think he is being honest with her."
"Why does that not surprise me." You once again interject.
"(Y/n) I- would you please stop interrupting me!" Ominis says, annoyed with the input you give.
"Sorry.." You blush.
"They told Anne I lead them to the Scriptorium alongside you. Sebastian is very careful with his words. Anne thought we knew about what the relic does. I told her what I knew and she did the same. Those two have been lying to all of us! Even each other. It has gotten to where Solomon wants to leave. Move further from the school. We have to stop this before it's to late."
"Ominis." You whisper, "I think it's already too late."
When his face drops you know that wasn't what he wanted you to say. For a moment you understand the new fifth year and their willingness to partake in anything Sebastian throws at them. They- much like you- act out of love. You love Ominis and only want him to be happy. This new student must have a crush on your friend. They do what they do because they care about Sebastian. Its toxic but just like them you cave.
"But if you think this is for the best I will help you. I can't promise Anne will to please that either of you dragged me into this. However if you need me there, I'll go."
Summary: Its the first day back at Hogwarts and everyone is talking about the new student in Slytherin. Y/n and Ominis have their first encounter with the fifth year and it already causes some mistrust to stir up.

You sat in between Ominis and Imelda, Sebastian on her other side. You weren't quite sure why you were all still sat in the Great Hall. But when you looked up at the professors, Professor Black was strictly talking to Professor Weasley.
"What on earth are we still doing here?" Ominis complains.
"I haven't a clue. Black seems to be upset with Professor Weasley though." You say absentmindedly, trying to think of what could have enraged your uncle this much.
"Maybe he found a troll in the dungeons." Sebastian jests from across the table.
"Seriously? I have flying first thing in the morning. I need to polish my broom!" Imelda complained.
"Please Imelda. Everyone knows you're the best flyer at school." You say with the intent to get her to stop complaining.
Just as she was about to complain further all four of you whipped your heads to the entrance to the Great Hall.
Professor Black walks back toward the Sorting Hat with an older student trailing behind him. They seem disheveled and breathing hard, either from the nerves or the stairs you cant tell.
Ominis picks up on the chatter, "What? What is it?"
"Some new student, Min. But they look like our age. I hope they don't get sorted in our house. They look like trouble." You glance at Ominis, who nods but faces forward again. Something he does when he's trying to use his other sense better.
"Don't say that (Y/n). A new student could be a fun distraction from Anne." Sebastian says, not even looking at you and Ominis, who is also annoyed by his remark about his sick sister.
"Nobody can replace Anne." Ominis says, venom dripping in his tone.
"I'm not saying they will, I'm saying maybe it'd be good for us to find trouble elsewhere." Sebastian defends.
"Can you three put a sock in it? I'm trying to hear!" Imelda interrupts before you could give your input on the whole situation.
"Slytherin!"
"Oh bloody hell!" You curse under your breath.
"Language!" Ominis smacks your sleeve and you give a surprised yelp.
"Awe look at that the two lovebirds are fighting like their already married."
This comment elicited a glare from both you and Ominis. Both of you being from two vary powerful pureblood families and in the same house, its no surprise you ended up as friends. Your uncle, Phineas Black was headmaster at Hogwarts. As for Ominis, well his father was a direct descendant of Slytherin, weather Ominis wanted to accept that or not.
Ominis and you met first year. He was there for you when your mother went off the rails after your father died and married a muggle. After that you started to live with your uncle and his wife and their three sons. You and Sebastian were around for the falling out Ominis had with his parents. The three of you were always there for each other. This time though, with Sebastian going through his own family crisis, he doesn't seem to be even acknowledging that this is the first year ever that the group is a member short.
You seethed at him, "We're not together."
After Professor Black announce no Quidditch this year, you knew that the walk back to the common room would be filled with grumbling from both Sebastian and Imelda.
"He dared to cancel Quidditch this year? What am I going to do!" Imelda started, the second you four left the Great Hall.
"Maybe you can race people. That way I can still watch people fall off their brooms!" Sebastian suggest.
Both you and Ominis took slow steps away from them.
"I cant believe that new kid was sorted with us. I don't know how to explain it Ominis but I have a bad feeling about them."
"Oh please (Y/n). You mustn't be so pessimistic. I'm sure their a great person."
"You see the irony in you calling me a pessimist right?" You giggle.
He rolls his eyes, thinking of something snarky to say but you quickly grab his shoulder to stop him.
"I'm tired Ominis. Good night. Make sure Seb doesn't get expelled on the first day."
"This is far from over Black!" He shouts as you descend the stairs to your dorm.

In the morning you sit on the floor next to Ominis, who leans against the wall next to the windows under the Black Lake. He has been teasing the first years all morning.
"If you look hard enough you can see a mermaid in the Black Lake." He told two siblings, who were particularly drawn to the window this morning.
"Ominis-" You start to scold him but the new fifth year interrupts you.
Ominis stands to address the new student, but you simply shift further into the wall, wanting nothing to do with this conversation.
"Ah based on all the chatter going around the common room, I'm guessing you must be the new fifth year. I'm Ominis. Ominis Gaunt. And this little ray of Sunshine is (Y/n) Black." Ominis points to you on the floor and you scoff so he can hear your displeasure.
"Nice to meet you Ominis." They greet.
"Well you certainly had a memorable arrival." He teased.
The rumors about the dragon attack speak like wild fire in the 12 hours before this conversation. You were the one to have told Ominis, since you actually bunk with the new fifth year.
"Well if I'm going to make my mark here, I had to start right away." They brag. You just roll your eyes.
Ominis gives a surprised laugh, "You are defiantly in the right house. Do let me know if there is anything I can do to help you navigate your first days here, though I doubt you'll have any trouble."
"Did you expect to be put into Slytherin?" They question.
"What is this? An interview of anyone whos remotely famous around here?" You mutter under your breath. Just loud enough for him to hear you.
Ominis gives a nervous laugh, trying to be more polite then you, "Of course. My family on my fathers side are direct descendants of Salthazar Slytherin himself. Not something I am especially proud of mind you. " He pauses, and turns his head towards you. "As for (Y/n), well they too have a lasting relationship with the house. But both of our families are obsessed with blood status so it's a topic we both try to avoid."
The student looks at you on the floor. You continue to wear a blank expression and look from the window to Ominis then back out the window, bored.
"Yes well urm- did that boy say he heard a mermaid?" They point out the window.
"Oh yes. But I've never heard of a mermaid showing up outside our common room window."
The two first years grumble in disappointment before heading off to their first class.
"Him and Seb like to tease the first years." You butt in, earning you a foot to your knee for interrupting him.
"It is fun to play along though. Know to keep some first years on the look out for hours."
"Thank you Ominis. it was night to meet the pair of you." The fifth year walk off to Sebastian.
Ominis leans back against the wall. "Okay I see what you mean."
"Yeah." You scoff. "They practically jumped at the opportunity to ask you about your house. Why did you have to tell them about out lineage? We both agreed not to bring it up unless we have to."
"I wanted them to know that we have connections, in case they start to get the wrong idea."
You stand up from your spot, facing him head on, even if he is nearly a foot taller then you now, "And if your new best friend starts asking about the Chamber or the locket?"
"They won't." Ominis says confidently.
"And if Sebastian tells them?" You gauge his reaction. The shock at the idea of it being Sebastian who tells people about what Ominis might know about Hogwarts shows on his now paler face.
"I- he wouldn't. He has been my best friend longer than you have. He would not go behind my back like that." He shutters at the idea.
"If you say so Min. I'm going to breaky. You do what you must." And with that you walk away to go meet Poppy and Natty in the Great Hall.

Part 1 Masterlist
Your mother greets you with a bowl of fruit and you grab two, tossing one to Neteyam who was crouched over, panting for a breath. He looks up in time to catch it, but slips and almost falls off of the dock. Instinctively you grab his hand to catch him, but being smaller then him, he causes you to fall with him back into the seaweed covered reef.
Neteyam laughs and hulls himself up on the dock. Your mother also giggles at the mess, when you resurface with seaweed all over you.
"Come on." Neteyam offers a hand to you. You refuse it with a blush, embarrassed you even tried to help him. "Thank you." He says holding up his fruit, before taking a bite.
You look in the water to see yours sink to the bottom of the reef. You bear your teeth, more to yourself then the boy, but he takes it personally.
"He's just frustrated. You embarrassed him in front of me."
"Mother." You sign.
She laughs at your theatrics and has you two sit on the dock with her.
"I think the best way to do this is for you to say something and watch him sign it. That way I can still tend to my chores without fully watching you. If you need anything I'll be in the hut."
Neteyam nods, "Thank you ma'am."
You sign it for him, spending time on polite things to say to the elders. Then you work on directions given when diving and hunting underwater, but eventually, after Neteyam has quickly learned quite a few sentences you just talk. You tell him to sign and speak at the same time, so if there was something he couldn't sign you could still understand him and teach him the new sign.
"So you're not going to be the next chief? Your brother is?" Neteyam said, missing the sign for brother.
You correct him "Brother."
He takes your guidance, getting it after a few trys. "Brother."
"My brother can speak. I cant." You tell him.
"Then what is your role? What do you do?"
No correction needed.
"I train as a shaman with my sister, Reya." You then teach him her name in sign.
"A male shaman?" He dosen't even try to sign, too caught off-guard by the idea.
You were about to respond when the voice of your brother caught your attention.
"What?" Neteyam says, looking around confused. "What is it?"
When he hears his sister, he perks up too. Both of you give each other a look and run down the nets to the beach, meeting up with Tuk, who had the same idea.
"Leave them alone!" Little Tuk cries.
"Stop. Fishbrain." You sign to your brother.
Lo'ak glares at your weak interference then turns to face Ao'nung again.
"You heard what she said. Leave them alone. Back off. Now." Neteyam directs to your brother and his friends, who were teasing Kiri.
"I know this hand is funny. Look, I'm a freak. Alien. But I can do something really cool. Watch. First I ball it really tight like this... then..." Lo'ak forms a fist and sucker punches your brother to the ground.
You roll your eyes and stand back, letting the two fight it out. It's not until Neteyam gets involved do you interfere by running up to get your father.
The chief and his company just returned to the docks when you arrive. He seems in good sprites and you hate to ruin it for him.
"Ah my boy! Where's Neteyam? How are lessons?"
"Ao'nung started a fight with the little forest girl at the beach, now he's in a fight with the boys. You need to hurry." You sign.
"Whoa whoa, slow down (Y/N). Slow down."
You take a deep breath, "The boys are fighting at the beach!"
"Show me." He says, then turns to Sully and his mate. "Our children seem to be having a quarrel on the beach. Come with me."
Once on the beach your father takes your brother by the hair, while Sully holds Lo'ak back by his shoulder.
"Boys that's enough. Apologize Ao'nung. Now!" your father demands, pulling his hair.
"Sorry." He growls. looks a lot worse for wear, meaning he lost a fight with the forest demons.
Both fathers take their children in separate directions after they both say what they can to comfort the other parent.
"What happen?" Your father asks.
"Nothing! He just came up and punched me." Ao'nung tried to defend himself but The Chief was not having it.
"I wasn't asking you Ao'nung." He says with a sharp look at your brother. He turns to you with a different demeanor then the one he just used on Ao'nung.
"All I know is that Fish was teasing the forest girl. The brothers were just protecting their sister." You tell him.
The chief nods. "Behave!" He stares at his youngest son. "I want you to finish your tasks for the day then return back to the hut for your punishment. Do not make this worse." The chief fumes, "Dismissed."
Once released Ao'nung dives in the water to hunt. You stand and wait for your father to dismiss you.
"You will go check on the Sully clan. Make sure their daughters are okay." He puts a hand on your shoulder, "And (Y/N) try to keep an eye out for your brother. He seems to have a knack for starting trouble with the new clan.
You nod and walk across the nettings to the hut the Sully's are in.
You nod in acknowledgment of Sully who tower overs you, stopping you before you can actually enter. You look behind him at his three children.
Neteyam smiles at you. "Hello. How is Chief?"
You silently laugh at the broken up signs but sign back anyways. "Okay. Your sisters?" You point to Kiri an Tuk.
"They want to know how the girls are dad." Neteyam says to his father.
Sully looks at you, thankfully, "They'll be fine. Thank you (Y/N)."
"Can I talk to you?" Neteyam signs.
You slowly nod.
"Dad, (Y/N) and I are going to work on signing some more."
Sully gives an approving hum, "Be safe. And (Y/N) for my sake. Stay with him. I don't need him following in his brother's footsteps."
"Yessir." You sign, a visible blush falling over your blue cheeks.
Sully gives a knowing smile when he allows the two of you to leave.
"Do you have somewhere we can talk?" Neteyam asks.
"Yes. Follow." You don't hessite to dive and wait for the younger boy to follow.
I just wanted you guys to know that if your waiting for me to finish the second part of the Neteyam series it’s going to be awhile. Part 2 Masterlist
He crashed into your life like the storms at sea you watched growing up. On the day he landed on that beach, you wanted to to avoid them as much as possible, even going as far to hide behind your mother. Your siblings and parents were unsure of the forest people and their demon hybrid children as well, but when your father gave your mother those eyes she caved, excepting them into the clan. Your father tasked you and your siblings to teach the Sully tribe your ways. The three of you decided to divide the tasks up.
Your sister, Tsireya was drawn to the clan, much to your annoyance, teaching the demon children to control their breathing under water and how to free dive, though ultimately helping wherever she could just to be involved. She clearly favored the little brother, Lo'ak. Which made sense because of his overall bad boy persona he put on. Ao'nuung, your younger brother, ended up just bulling the small clan, though he was to aid in teaching the clan to swim and hunt.
You had calmly explained to your parents that you wouldn't be much use to helping them since they wouldn't have a clue what you were saying since none knew how to sign. Your mother agreed and though your duties as the eldest shall remain top priority. Your father disagreed and decided that on top of all of your other responibilites you needed to teach them to communicate underwater, alongside Reya, who volunteered to help of course.
"You will help." Your father said.
Ao'nung smirked as he watched the golden child get reprimanded. It's rare you get in trouble.
You rolled your eyes. "I am going for a swim." You sign, spinning around quickly.
Reya tried to stop you but your mother hissed and she pulled back. letting you jump off the nets into the water.
You were seventeen and they still treated you like a kid. It bothered you. You have done everything you were asked of your parents, even making sure you evil little brother didn't do something he would regret, with no snarky comment, and a simple yessir.
You swam until you found your secret cave entrance. You pulled yourself up, out of the water, and smiled at the drawings that litter the walls as they lit up the cave in their bioluminescent glow. You had discovered cave drawing as a child. It was a way for you to communicate to your clan more efficiently as you continued to learn sign. Now there were signs your clan had as a result of the only mute Na'vi in the Metkayina clan, and maybe the entire planet for all you knew.
Back to being frustrated and planning on expressing it you grab your self made paints and painted the Sully clan on an empty space, beginning to tell a story as you went. You had lost track of time as late night turned into early morning. You were too distracted to hear the clicking of your mothers skimwing, who was there to alert you that your mother was calling you. She clicked a few more times before getting frustrated and splashing you to get your attention instead.
Appalled you spun on your heel to face the beast. "That is very rude." You signed.
You puffed your breath in feign annoyance before putting your paints down and diving out of the cave.
It wasn't long before you eventually washed up on beach, shaking the water from your man bun. You seek your mother, who, although very much with child, pulls you into a tight embrace anyways. You greet her with a wave.
"My son, your father wants your company to assist the forest people with their skimwing training. You are to teach the demon in disguise how to breathe while Tonowari retrieves the skimwings.
Your mother didn't like the new additions to the clan anymore then you did. As frustrated as you were, you knew she fought with your father to get you to work with the adults rather then babysit the children. She knew you had too much on your plate for that at the moment, being trained by her to be the next shaman. Male shaman were next to rare but your mother knew you were different and when your little brother was born it was clear that he would be the next chief. Your connection with Ewya was greater then that of your siblings after you so she had decided that when you started your training that you would train in her ways rather then your fathers. You were your mothers favorite and the entire clan knew it.
You nod to her. Not even dignifying the order with a response as you turn to find you father. She understands this is hard on you. Harder for you then your siblings. These people can't communicate with you and you both know that. She can see how that would make some like you frustrated.
She sighs, almost reading your thoughts, " (Y/N)," You turn to face her with a pout. "Try your best son." She pats you on the back and you walk to meet your father.
"Ready son?" He asks.
You nod once, looking over his shoulder to see the two adult Na'vi and their eldest son. The man met your eyes with a soft understanding look and the female glared at you, their spawn not even looking at you. You were more confused by the look the man gave you, the woman's was understandable. It was how you were suppose to treat a mute in the clan. It's how other clans treated you when you would go on diplomatic missions with your mother and father. As the oldest child of the clans chief, there was a certain expectation that was given. Since you were not crowned, next in line to be chief, there was no use for you, but your mother bent the rules for you and trained both you and your sister to be her position.
"This is my son (Y/N), he's a mute but don't think it'll stop him from helping. He will help teach you both sign and I figured since it's all he can say it would be good exposer to you three. Help you learn to communicate underwater with us." He glances at you and your confused look hardens when your eyes meet those of your fathers. "Let's go." It's an order directed at you. He thinks your being rude by just staring. What were you supposed to do? Say something? Sign? They wouldn't understand you anyways.
When you jump back in the water, they follow. Their son diving last. You smile when he practically belly flops in. You've seen children do better on their first dive. It amused you and getting your fathers attention you start to sign.
"What?" The forest boy says, confused by your reaction.
"My son wants to teach your boy to dive properly." He says to Sully and Neytiri.
"Good, Neteyam will do his best." Sully says, agreeing with the verdict you father has given.
Neteyam looks at you surprised and you sign to your father again.
"There will be time for that later (Y/N)." The chief says before moving out into more open water. "First I want to see how long you can hold your breath underwater, I will leave (Y/N) with you so you understand how long you should be able to last. I will get my Skimwing and return shortly.
Once the chief is gone you point down then count off with your fingers before all four of you dive down. You stay pretty close to the surface for the forest clans sake. If you went any deeper and the Chief knew, he would rip you a new one for sure.
Sully was the first to swim back up for air, only lasting less then two minutes, Neteyam was out after another minute, leaving you alone with Neytiri. She bared her teeth at you once you were alone. You rolled your eyes at her. She surprised you when she lasted a total of seven minute under before bitching out for air.
You knew you could last almost fifteen minutes but you weren't here to show off. As badly as you wanted to.
"Wow mom, they should make you the chief." Neteyam said.
"Son!" His father scolded.
Before you could react your father came back with two Skimwings. He looked at you for an update.
"The huntress." You declared.
Your father nods, "Neytiri, you go first. Sully you and your boy will go back with (Y/N) to work on sign with my wife and I'll get Sully when she's done."
Sully clearly didn't like that idea. "No I stay with my mate. We do this together. The boys can go back to the beach alone."
Your father looked for your approval.
"I am fine to take the forest boy alone, father." You sign.
Your father looks proud, "If you think that's for the best Sully."
"Neteyam is my eldest, he will not cause any trouble for your son." Sully gives a pointed look to his son, who already looks disappointed in himself.
As an the oldest of your own siblings, you can sense the struggle of being the perfect son. You salute to your father, and with a wave of your hand, lead the forest boy back to your floating hut.

A Gentelman pt 4 Masterlist
"Five is the mission done?" You ask as your partner stumbles in, clearly enjoying the alcohol at some wedding held at the casino you were staying at. Being in 1934 was weird for you. It was as close to your own time as you've been since you left. It made you nervous at the possibility that someone could recognize you but you lived in New York and this was all the way across the country.
"No he wasn't there." Five slurs.
"Well it seems you enjoyed your stake out. Did you gatecrash that poor couple's wedding Mr. Hargreeves? " You tease.
You already knew of Five's relationship with alcohol. You would never tell him this but he focused better when he drank so you minded less. Even if he was a bit of a blotto and seemed to drowned in the stuff.
You stared at your work notes at the though of you not minding him being drunk. You should. You should. You tried to catch yourself but quickly realized that you might actually be pinning after this man. He was sarcastic but kind, arrogant and impulsive but you liked that he never treated you like that. He was playful but wasn't mean and not only knew your boundaries but tried his best to respect them.
"You okay?" You jump, not noticing the older man hovering above you. "What were you thinking? You zoned out there doll." He mocked. He only called you doll because in your time it was used as a term of endearment and it was the only word he knew from your era. It was actually a term used after you time but you didn't want to correct him.
"Yeah I'm fine." You dodged.
"Okay but you didn't answer my other question. What were you thinking?" He smirked as he got closer to your face.
You backed up as far as you could without falling out of the small wooden chair. "Nothing. please just-"
"Drop it?" He finished.
"Sure yes. 'drop it' as you say." You roll your eyes and pick up your pen to return to your report.
"Look (Y/n) I don't know what's gotten into you but ever since that mission in Paris-"
"We were in Versailles. Not Paris." You correct.
"We were basically in Paris! Don't correct me." His voice rose an octave then went back down to a softer tone.
"What's this about?" You deadpan, quickly losing interest.
"You!" He shouts now.
"Me?!" You stand, "I have yet to do a thing!"
"You hide things from me. All. The. Time." Five calmly replied, drinking more from his bottle.
"If it is so important then ask me anything." You try to mellow out too. Not wanting to get into a fight with a man who was intoxicated.
"What were you thinking. When I walked in?" He asked again.
"I..." You blush, "You. I was thinking about you." You spoke softly, afraid that Five would shame you for your feelings. It wasn't uncommon when a man would do so.
"What about me?" He quirked an eyebrow. A mix of curiosity and suspicion on his face.
Stupid old man. You think before slowly closing the gap. You put a hand on his face and smile when his breath hitches. You then quickly place a kiss on his lips before pulling back just as fast.
"Not fair." He grunts before pulling you back to his lips for another heated kiss.
You move with him, letting him guide you back to the desk. He lifted you up on the desk, moving his hand up your mid-length dress.
"Five..." You pulled away.
"Mh?" He hummed against your lips as he kissed you again.
"I-I'm not- It's just- Five I'm a virgin." You rush out, and he pulls away.
"So?" He starts to kiss down your collar bone. "Technically so am I."
"Technically?" You push him back now.
"Yeah.. Delores doesn't really count. She's my companion from the apocalypse. She was a mannequin I found in a clothing store."
"I really don't want to ask what happened with you and a mannequin Five." You hush.
"Then don't." He sasses and gives you that smirk.
But Five was too smart not to know there was something else going on that had nothing to do with his past companion with the real doll. "Okay I'll bite. What is the problem then?"
"We're not married..." You whisper, looking down and fixing your dress.
"That's what this is about?" The man huffs, exasperated by the trivial subject such as marriage. However after a moments contemplation Five seemed to remember where you came from and the importance to asking ones hand in marriage. "Then marry me."
You freeze, half expecting what he said to be caused by his drunken state. When Five doesn't take it back you respond, "You're drunk Five." And hop off the table with a pout.
The grey haired man wrinkles his nose at the accusation. "I am not that drunk sweetheart." He pause "But you already know that!"
"Prove it then. Ask me again in the morning you lousy, ossified, hard-boiled, upstaged oyster!" You shout back startling the man before you..
"Fine." Five calmly says, confused by most of the insult of slang he didn't understand. Without another word he pivots on his heels and leaves.
You grunt and turn back to finish your commissions report.
Practically done the door to the hotel room opens back up and Five walks in with an early 1950's style tea length wedding dress and a cardbord box.
You stared at him dumbfounded and quite curious.
"(Y/n). Remember that mission to London to make sure Orwell contracted tuberculous?" Five started, putting down the dress and box on the bed.
You were too busy staring at the lacing on the long-sleeved dress to do more then nod your head. You were too scared to touch the dress in case it was some twisted illusion.
"That's when I knew I loved you. Watching you go though and pet all the dogs at the road side market made laugh." Five continues to talk while he picked though the box, finding what he was looking for he smiles and holds a smaller wooden box in his hand. "When you walked away to get us food and I went to look for a jeweler I bought a ring, your ring, because I saw you pick it up when we stopped by the first time." As if seeing your hesitance he shows you the space themed sapphire ring and you tear up.
"On the mission to Greece?" Five says holding up a golden crown.
The mission to Russia? The one you hated so much you cried?" He holds up a vale.
The mission to California? You sat on the beach and watched the stars. I came back and you were asleep so I carried you to bed." He held up a tan tie with sea stars on it. By now you had a steady stream of tears down your face.
"I fell for you so hard (Y/n). Every time I wanted to tell you- I couldn't. I settled for buying things because you know I hate communicating and I knew you wouldn't believe me if I did tell you. Fine maybe not tonight but one night I want to marry you. Some night. I know you are terrified because of all that time you spent alone, having to fight for yourself but I am here now. Fighting seems so unlike you. I know if you had a choice you wouldn't be here but I fell for you. No I didn't fall in love with you. I fell in love with how you saw the world and it was through those eyes that I saw what I was missing. Sweetheart I saw home. I saw you and me forever. I saw a future which knowing where I came from was the scariest feeling in the world but I still would marry you but you have to say yes." Five finishes, only steps away from you as he waits for your answer.
Once more over come with lack of words, this time due to the insistent sobbing you simple nod your head and kiss him.
Summary: Not much happens. (Y/n) wears one of the Academy's old uniforms and is pestered by Klaus.

Partners Part 3
"Vanya!" Five cheers when his sister joins the majority of his siblings in the house. "Do you, by any chance, have any of your old uniforms?"
She pause from shaking out the umbrella to look up at the two of you. You were half hidden behind Five.
"Um... Yeah dad make us keep all of our uniforms. They should be in my room, come on." Vanya, who you have already decided was your favorite, moved around the two of you to head to the stairs.
Five and you began to follow but were all stopped when Allison stood, leaning on the door frame.
"Why didn't you ask me?" She asked.
'I didn't think your clothing would fit (Y/n)." Five replied boredly before grabbing your hand and guiding you upstairs.
Once in Vanya's small room, she opens her closet and finds a uniform that she thinks would fit and hands it to you.
After you change you walked to the kitchen while Five spacial jumped around the house. Seeing as you hated the feeling of doing that with him you opted out. At first you though maybe you could find something to eat but nothing looked easy and fast. They also didn't have any caffeine which in about ten minutes when Five figures it out will be a bit of a problem.
So you sat at the kitchen table, playing with the belt holding your skirt up. You jumped a bit when Klaus sat next to you. For some reason he was dragging an electric guitar with him, and when he sat he cradled it like a baby, then proceeded to put his feet on the table. You scrunched your nose at this. After all people eat here and from the looks of how strange their mother is you don't think she'd know to re-clean it.
"What was your name again?" Klaus looked at you for an answer.
You looked away from him, out of annoyance mostly. "(Y/n)."
"Ah right! Got it got it. So (Y/n), how is it that you managed to settle my brother down?" He said, bouncing his foot on the table across from you.
"I- I don't know..." You really didn't, "We- we just got married." You smiled when you remembered that night.
"Oh I see. So you asked him." Klaus smiles.
"What? I would never ask a man to court me!" You say appalled by the accusation.
"Where’s Vanya?" Allison asked, looking at you and Klaus, then over your shoulder to Five. He must have walked in becuase you would have heard him if he used his powers.
"Oh she's gone." Kluas informs.
"That's unfortunate." Five leans over the back of your chair and you look to see him holding a French press above your head.
"Yeah." Allison agrees.
"An entire square block, 14 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, but not a single drop of coffee." Five pouted.
"Dad hated caffeine." Allison reminded.
"Yeah he hated children too but he had plenty of us!" Klaus jumped in, laughing at his own joke.
"I'm taking the car. (Y/n) let's go." Five says as he pulls your chair back so you could follow.
"Where are you going?" Klaus asks in peak curiosity.
"Too get a decent cup of coffee." He informs.
"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison pipes in.
"Well one of us had to learn." He states as he warps you to the car with him.
"Five!" You whine holding your head as you vision spots.
"I know sweetheart but I can not be here any longer then we have to."
He goes around to open the door for you and smile with a quiet "Thank you."
Five jumps back in the driver's seat next to you in a flash of blue just as your door shuts.
He is such a gentelman.
The boy smirked at you. " I know this great donut place my siblings and I would sneak out to."
