I hope one day that Brendan Fraser gets to see this post with several thousand (one day perhaps several hundred thousand?) people who have all banded together, united for one single common purpose: to hope that he is having a nice day.
Here is Arryn’s full statement on the abuse she suffered from Bob (and Eliza). I encourage everyone to read it and put aside being a fan to be a human being. I understand that people will have feelings about this, especially if you’ve been a big fan of them but a real survivor is more important than that and she deserves our support.
The way this fandom hates sheidheda but praises jr bourne yet can’t seem to separate echo and tasya really speaks to the character of this fandom when it comes to ships and is most definitely part of the reason why so many from the cast actively avoid or even speak out against shipping.
Hmm. Yes.
I’ve heard some people even say they LOVE sheidheda, though he is blatantly evil and is completely out to destroy our heroes.
1. People allow male characters to have all sorts of terrible qualities and still be loved. Sheidheda has no redeemable qualities. Does that matter? Nope.
2. Female characters are not given this latitude. Echo has been on our side for three seasons and even when she was against our heroes, she still saved Bellamy and Octavia, and was doing it for her people and actually apologized to bellamy for what she did to him which is always what fandom thinks makes up for evil actions, but not for Echo. She’s morally gray not evil, but you’d never guess that from parts of this fandom.
3. So many people HATE b/e with such a passion that they definitively refuse to watch anything to do with echo or b/e, won’t think about it, won’t consider it at all. I’m not saying this is my interpretation of their actions. It’s literally what they’ve said. Since season 4. So they MISS everything about her character and say she has no development and also are more afraid of B/E being endgame because they can’t bear to actually consider what the story is on screen.
4. shipping can go from “i want these two characters together” to “I hate with a passion anything and anyone that stands in the way of these two characters ship and nothing else in the story matters but them.” Wanting characters together is not a problem. Erasing everything about a story BUT that ship is a problem. I would be offended also if someone took my work (writing/acting/directing/whatever) and said nothing about it mattered but how it reflected on a ship.
5. the not being able to separate tasya from echo is weird. y’all are weird. do you not notice that there’s something not balanced about that?

She has [and still does] bullies fans and has even gotten a girl expelled from her university years ago.
She plagiarizes and won’t apologize for it and tries to hide that away.
She blocks fans who point out problematic content/flaws in her novels instead of sorting it out and discussing it.
She has a incest fetish [which is disgusting] to the point she makes an incest storyline about Jace/Clary’s fake relations and makes them lust after each other after thinking they are siblings. She also made Sebastian attempt to rape Clary. She also ships Stefan/Damon from TVD [The Vampire Diaries] and they’re brothers.
She prompts female/female hate, making Clary hate Isabelle for being more beautiful than her [which is ridiculous].
She slut-shames Show!Isabelle and says she looks like Sebastian’s girls because of the clothes she wears [meaning; she’s trashy].
She slut-shames BOTH Clary and Isabelle.
She made Isabelle get slut-shamed in the books by everyone around her.
She fetishizes a gay couple [Malec] and is writing their first time for the Trevor Project, to make fucking money [which is disappointing[.
She claims her books are diverse but treats her POC/LGBT characters like shit.
She made a girl [specifically a biracial girl, Maia] go back to being in a relationship with her abuser [romanticizing abuse is disgusting and sadly still happens in media. An example is Reylo.]
She sidelines her one lesbian couple [banishing them to Wrangel Island] and doesn’t give them development what so ever.
She once clarified in a post, first referring to Magnus as ‘Half-Asian’, then later, referring to him as ‘Asian’. [-.- WHICH IS IT CLARE?]
She said in a tweet that Magnus is Pansexual but currently identifies as Bisexual [which shows her ignorance of the LGBT community and sexualities]
She’s a misogynist.
She just has LGBT characters in her books as her Token Lesbian/Gays and gives them little to no page time and scenes.
She made Alec biphobic [he showed disgust towards Magnus being a bisexual man and makes biphobic comments].
She attempted to get a producer from the show fired AND EVEN ENCOURAGED A FAN.
She is exploiting Malec for profit and money, which is wrong and disgusting.
She hates Shadowhunters [and made it clear in her tweets and shades] and now wants to be more involved in season 2.
She’s a homophobic, biphobic, a misogynist, a slut-shamer, a plagiarist and a malicious, incest/rape/abuse and LGBT fetishizing woman who needs to stay the fuck away from Shadowhunters.
Dear People Who Smoke
I don’t know if you have considered this but stop smoking in areas where people are forced to wait at. Don’t smoke at crosswalks. Don’t smoke outside doorways. Don’t smoke at bus stops. People with asthma or other breathing conditions or people that idk DON’T WANT TO BREATHE IN YOUR CIGARETTE SMOKE are trying to get to places and need to be able to breathe. Yeah, heres the thing, yeah I’m an addict, but that’s literally no excuse to expose others to it.
The ONLY time I smoke at a cross walk, or any other public area is when I’m alone.
If I’m near people (more specifically, friends or a group of people I’m talking with) I stand downwind, I blow my smoke, downwind, I respect other people right to not get lung cancer.
If kids are able to see me, but not close enough to get exposed to smoke, I hide that shit, I’m not trying to make kids think it’s cool.
If a kid is close enough to get exp to smoke, that shit it get put out and hidden.
If I’m out in a public place (with no one around, as stated above) guess where I put the cigarette butt when I’m done with it (and theres no butt can) in my pocket, I dont want to litter or expose animals to the toxins that are in a used cigarette butt.
If I can put forth the minimal effort to not expose people to my cancer sticks, so can every other smoker.
Dont be a dick.
(P.S. that comment about isolation, there are smoking areas for a reason, and every smoking area I’ve ever been to is a social hotspot, you aren’t alone 99% of the time. And even if you were, too fucking bad, we’re choosing to expose ourselves to cigarette smoke, dont force it onto other people, especially if you consider them your friends.)

I've shipped Bellarke since the end of season 1. They work and interact so well together, and when I first started watching, I thought "oh wow this is blatantly obvious" but I couldn't help myself. When I see 2 strong characters like Clarke and Bellamy, and when they have a good relationship, I wanna see that relationship evolve into something greater.
But not every relationship ends up being romantic, and that is okay.
The 100 is not about romance. Romance has never been a major plot on this show. Sure, there have been some cute couples on the show, but those relationships didn't dictate everything else going on. The 100 is about saving the people, no matter what. That is The 100. Not Bellarke, not Clexa, not Becho.
So why are people so worked up about these ships?
Yes, I agree, the writers do bait us a lot with seemingly "romantic" scenes, but who cares? Right now, in the show, Bellamy is happy with Echo. Bellamy loves Echo. They spent 6 years on a spaceship together, and even after finding out Clarke was still alive, Bellamy chose to stay with Echo. Because he has romantic feelings for Echo.
Bellamy and Clarke already have an amazing relationship. They work so well together and get along amazingly. They have been through a lot, which does cause people to grow closer, but it does not mean that they have to have romantic feelings for one another. Is there relationship not strong enough for you?
Honestly, Clarke and Bellamy are already close enough as is, I feel like the only change thing that would change is that they make out. What would that bring to the show? The main characters either have or have had serious romantic relationships, and there are only a few characters still single. This show is not short on romance.
So why try to force one couple, when everything is fine as is? Why be upset at other people shipping something that's 100% canon? There is no point in these "ship-wars". Quit bringing other fans down. We all love the show, that's all that matters.
I really hope Season 7 is about The Delinquents and getting Octavia (and Diyoza) back. No new civilization or group of people this time. This is the Final Season and I think it should be very character heavy. Specifically, The Delinquents.
That ragtag band of juvenile delinquents is what started this show and they are its heart. The remaining of The 100 that have fought and made it this far deserve the last season to shine a spotlight on them.

1 more season will be 100 episodes, and then no more. That is so hard to believe.
I've always been a firm believer of ending shows before they wear themselves out *cough*TWD*cough*SPN*cough* but it's still hard to imagine that, in a year, we'll see no more of Murphy, of Echo, of Bellamy, of Octavia, of Clarke.
It has been an emotional rollercoaster these past 6 seasons, and I'm sure 7 will be no different. I love our writers and know that they will be satisfied.
May we meet again.
