Oh boy, a complex character who's a woman! I love messy characters who hurt everyone around them and continue the cycles that hurt them!! Can't wait to share this joy with fellow fans– why's everyone calling her a bitch
"what if someone regrets transitioning" if you are 18 or over in free country usa you can walk into any tattoo parlor and ask for a tattoo that will be on your body forever and ever and ever and they will give it to you with the understanding that if you dont like the result or you regret it later that's your fucking problem and not theirs
Until I log onto Tumblr my mutuals both are and are not blogging #schrodingersblogger
before you say i am drawing cas again let me explain you a thing
I did not truly understand until this moment. No like I genuinely could not understand until I finally got that they gave Castiel the truck from Brokeback Mountain.
What. The. Fuck.
My problem is that I have betrayed everything that I am for phone in bed
my stepsister started watching supernatural. i don’t know if i’m proud or horrified. maybe a bit of both.
Hope people use this time to check themselves on their internalized Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism— especially if you’re American or European. It is not “normal” for the Middle East to be “constantly at war”. Muslims are not more inclined to violence and “barbarism”.
The state of the region is the product of decades of colonialism, exploitation, and racism in play. The word “Middle East” itself stems from those very same things.
Gonna add to this real quick and also say that you shouldn't say or imply that we're 'oppressed' here and/or that we need to be 'liberated'. The region is not a monolith and neither are the people, but they overwhelmingly do NOT want foreign interference here. The Iraqis are still traumatized by the things the US military did to their civilians. There are no 'good guys' in war, and anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.
reintroducing salem witch trials but this time around we are executing male celebrities. this week's pick is timothee chalamet
i got you queens
i seriously need everyone to go subscribe to this channel and watch and engage with every video!
it is the single greatest youtube series i have ever had the pleasure of following. it’s literally just interviews with trans couples who are very much in love. it’s so important to me, especially, because i feel mirrored in a way i’ve never felt before, but also deeply important for anyone on earth to witness: normal people in normal, healthy relationships who have found something beautiful in each other (despite the world telling them they shouldn’t exist). representation i’m frankly heaving for.
Everyone reblog with your most unemployable traits
i NEED people to realise foreshadowing is. in fact. a literary device. and not a Bad Thing. the audience picking up on your hints is a Good Thing. because. it makes the story and it’s conclusion make sense. and some people will not see those but enjoy seeing them on a second read through. red herrings are one thing but if your novel consists of nothing but red herrings it’s not a coherent story it’s just a collection of paragraphs that don’t actually plausibly link to one another. you're not fighting with the audience you don’t look clever you look like you don’t know how basic fiction works. be vulnerable for once in your goddamn life and don't treat writing like a game to be won where the audience losing is a good thing.
When you remember how much you love a character you hadn’t thought about in a while
now say it with me: authors/artists dont owe you moral purity. an author/artist job is not to hold you by the hand & tell you exactly what is Good™ & what is Bad™. you should be able to think for yourself
"yes but depictions of (morally questionable thing) are only okay if its punished in the story" thats the hays code. you just reinvented the hays code
i had a twisted dream this morning when my alarm tried to wake me up where jeff goldblum said 'Actually if you sleep a bit Longer you'll have More time to get ready It's called the Goldblum's Law and it works just go back to sleep' and i believed him and i overslept
hey boss sorry im late. i got Goldblumed
Sleeping like shit is soooo cool because the next day you get to feel like you have a disease
