Someone help please

I read this book before and there’s this one distinct scene I remember: it was a cute love story about two boys I think and they were on a school field trip I think to like a museum or garden or something similar. And they came across a secluded spot with a bench. I believe one of them put their jacket down so they both could sit. I don’t really remember the whole scene. I literally just remembered vague details and now it’s bothering the hell out of me that I can’t remember the book. If anyone has any inkling they may know please comment or comment other plotlines about the book so I can remember. Thank you!

it’s so sad to see that 4 seasons later elliot is still not allowed to be his own person…. this is the first time we get to see him on his own, without Lucas and people are still making everything about elu. they want to see him with lucas, talking about lucas, kissing lucas or not see him at all. and seasons 3, 4 and 5 gave us exactly that. but now, when we finally get to see him on his own, working, making movies, becoming friends with lola, people are saying he stopped loving lucas, not only making it about elu again, but somehow implying he can only care for one person at a time. I feel like some people want him to be isolated from everyone else, dependent on lucas, and they are bothered whenever they imply he is not. 

and what makes it even worse is the fact that maxence already said eliott was feeling lonely and people still don’t want him to have anyone in his life but lucas

Okay I need help finding out an old elu fic i had read.
