Ok so a few months ago or something I got this unfinished doll house for free (long story) and I’ve been staring at it and wondering where to start working on it for a while and so here’s the doll house:

And while I was examining it I realized it had a fully wired light but no battery, so I got that to work:

And I asked my stepgrandma to make some stained glass windows for it so when I get back from my trip I’m gonna install those

this is the concept art for the windows, when they’re done I’ll get a picture of them for comparison

So that’s what I’ve got for now, I’ve definitely got more for this doll house coming as soon as I get back from vacation so yeah. Expect a crap ton of progress on the doll house in like a week or so.

the joy of working with middle school aged children is that, regardless of how long you've been doing it, they will always find novel ways to annoy and confuse you, which is okay because that's the natural state of the middle school aged child. anyway suffice it to say that for the past three weeks of school my 6th grade class has been greeting me at my door by lining up outside of it, playing the national anthem, and saluting me as i walk in.
