Demisexual Flag Redesign

I've never been happy with the demi flag, so I am reviving my middle school account to post my pitch for a redesign.

I don't like how muted the current flag is because it is just a rearrangement of the ace flag. The colors feel right for the ace vibe, but doesn't feel like it showcases the swinging pendulum into the allo side that differentiates being demi.

So here is my redesign and why I chose the colors I did. Still not vibrant and shocking, but just a little different from the ace flag to show the duality of existing as both allo and ace and neither and both.

What’s so horrifying about this to me is that this is literally Jerry Seinfeld trying to teach John Mulaney how to gaslight his wife.

Look at that dialogue. “She thinks she knows.” He’s trying to get Mulaney to see his wife’s expertise as instead a weird misperception. He’s coaching him to undercut his wife’s confidence in the truth and her own abilities.

And Mulaney replies exactly the right way: “She does know.” He asserts not only that she’s perceiving the world accurately, but that she is an expert at something he’s not good at.

Dudes, don’t take this shit from other dudes. Mulaney isn’t by any means perfect but he aced this. Stand for the truth. Defend women’s objectivity. Promote women’s expertise.

Dear ARMYs watching Hwarang,

Spoiler alert, BIG TIME SPOILER ALERT. If you haven’t watched episode 18, just leave the Hwarang tag now.

Anyway, I just wanted to send out a quick message to fellow ARMYs watching Hwarang.

Yes, I know that we began this drama for our precious Taehyungie. I know that we are devastated by the events of episode 18. (On Valentine’s of all days, V day... V day... SEriously?) Nonetheless, we should continue to support the show. Now if you were planning on doing so already, thanks. That’s all, you can scroll away or message me and cry because BRUH, Why I felt the need to say this is because I have been hearing so many say that now that we know TaeTae is done in the series that they will just leave. Here is why I urge you not to:

It will devastate V. He is so proud of this show, of his Hwarang hyungs, of the entire story. Think how awful he’d feel if their viewership took a hit directly because of him. None of us want to be the cause of Tae feeling sad or guilty.

It’s a good show. Unless you’ve just been watching Taehyung cuts on YouTube, I don’t see how you could not already be in love with the show. Overall it is very well done. It is immensely entertaining. Besides, if you didn’t like the show why would you have endured hour long episodes only for a few minutes in each spent on Tae? Like he made those minutes count, but still that’s a lot of non-Tae stuff you watched.

And that is literally it. You shouldn’t need anymore reasons. If you’re just watching Tae cuts on YouTube, well sorry that’s over. Glad you enjoyed it while it lasted. To the rest of us, let’s enjoy Hwarang together until the very end along with BTS who are probs also crying over Hansung.
