Decisions decisions
Ever wonder if you made the right decision, it’s probably been about a couple months since I made the decision to step down at work but there is still a part of me that is wondering either I should have applied for management or not, everyone who I’ve spoken to that have been involved in me making my decision thinks I did but I’m still wondering if I did.
Dear Eczema, please stop finding inappropriate times to start playing up, i very much like sleeping,rather than trying to spend the early hours of the morning soothing the itch.

I haven't done this in awhile.... posted whatever thoughts have been swirling in my mind, tonight is a mixture of stuff, going from my back feels good now but what if tomorrow I'm stiff as hell and can't move... I have pinched a nerve, and have spent the past four days resting- boredom was starting to set in.
Other thoughts are work related... I just can't switch them off, I really need to so I can sleep.... typing what I'm thinking is starting to help, because I feel like I'm clearing my mind, along with the calming playlist I have on in the background... thank god for Spotify!!
Anyway now I've cleared my thoughts, I feel like I can actually go to sleep...
Well, I hope I've given you something different to read... or the insights to what thoughts are swirling through my mind are so boring you fell asleep somewhere round the first paragraph.

we opened at 11 this morning. i watched an old man literally pry the fucking sliding doors open at 10:43 and stand there just staring into the empty store and my coworker & i were like sir. for the love of fuck
I worked in a restaurant for while and a woman climbed past an A board sign, ignored the sign on a the door saying the opening times and trotted on in. When told we were not open she asked why the door was unlocked. My manager explained that it has to be unlocked when people are in the building to comply with fire regulations. Which lead to my favourite exchange with a customer: Woman: But there are no people in here. Manager: Madam. The staff count as people. Woman: That’s ridiculous. *Storms out*
“The staff count as people” has me dead
I feel like that phrase needs to be on a sign in every store, but then again the customers will just ignore it.
Twice I've had to ask people to leave before the store opened, to this day I have no idea how they got in, whether they followed members of staff in or just thought they'd have a go prising the doors open, nor had they noticed that there was no checkouts open or that the lights were very dim.
Kindness is often mistaken for softness and let me tell you, friends….that is a mistake you don’t want to make.
Kind people are not born that way, they do not stumble into it, kind people are forged in fire and darkness and imploding stars…they have steel cores. Throw a punch and you’re going to break your hand.

I last posted about four/five weeks ago, when I was having a bit of an argh moment, I chose tumblr to make that post because it's not very populated by friends of mine, those of them that are on here were already aware of the argh moment. Anyway the thing that kinda caused the what I now look back at and after a conversation with someone about it, I realise it was rather silly to worry about, I was given a great piece of advice the day after I wrote the last post, and it really has stuck with me, and if you are a worrier like me, it will hopefully help you as much as it seems to have helped me, the advice I was given was simply this, worry about what you can control and don't worry about what you can't control. I worried about anything and still do sometimes, but that advice it was actually really helpful for me, when I remember to apply it. The outcome of what I was worrying about was good, and has kinda helped me see my path regarding my career a bit more clearly. I've just had, what feels like a well deserved break, albeit 3 days, but I seriously needed it, I'm ready to get back to work tomorrow and see what the next few months or so brings for me.
When you feel this may be the only place to post because it's a little less populated by friends. I'm a worrier, and sometimes it can be horrible, I've managed to learn how to control it, and that really is great when I've got it under control, but right now, it just feels out of control. I've got something coming up in a week, and honestly right now I'm thinking the worse, and I know it will make this week worse for me, especially if I spend it in some form constant worry and panic, and honestly right now I don't know what to do.
After all this time? Always.
