Do you ever think about how plainly they queer-coded Regina’s ‘evilness’ in the show? In S1 she’s the evil Madam Mayor, what does she do? She’s two millimetres from Emma’s face all the time, blatantly ogles Ruby (and Emma, but to be fair they both seemingly can’t really tear their eyes from one another’s body) and brings nurse Hatchet a bloody red rose? Straight as a circle. S2 depicted most of them pretty ooc, so let’s to s3 onward. In s3 she becomes more and more the Hero, meaning she needs a Man, right? So after she spends the first half of the season pining after Emma (no one is gonna tell me it’s all about getting Henry back), she then spends the other half with Robin. Fast forward to S4B, Regina has to ‘pretend’ she’s still a bad girl, what’s the first thing she does? Why, goes out drinking with her ex gf. How does s4 end? With Regina once again claiming her hero status AND Robin as hers, no matter him having a baby with her sis.

Exhibit 7 and 8: Evil Regina ready to jump the Saviour’s bones (not that the Saviour seems to mind, in fact, Emma looks more than okay with the prospect of “boning”)
Which leads us to my second point. The funniest thing is that the exact same people went and made Emma Swan, the Saviour, the one true hero of the story the gayest thing in Storybrooke up to date and sent her in Regina’s way (see ex. 7 and 8). Obviously, the Hero can’t give off any sapphic vibes, so they later proceeded to make Emma as straight as possible which led to two things - 1) they drained all that made Emma Swan the beloved badass character from s1 and 2) stripped her of her heroism (no, dragging the whole family literally to hell to save h00k is NOT heroic, just idiotic).

In conclusion, don’t ever let A&E write anything again, especially female characters.
