You can't see it, but the veggie portion is the same as the #shrimp and #friedrice combined. . I have no idea how much I eat; I eat when I'm hungry and don't when I'm not. With that said, I try to follow the same practice every time I eat. . 💧 liquids, then 🥬 veggies, then 🥩 protein, then 🍞 carbs, in that order. . You can reduce overeating by drinking some liquids (water!) before eating. Often, thirst is mistaken for hunger so you can even quell the desire to snack by drinking a large glass of water. . Eat veggies first since that's when you're most hungry and you'll likely TEAR into the first thing you eat! This point is more of a personal anecdote, I have no idea if it'll work for you. The idea is to eat the 'undesireables' first, then fill up on whatever is left. Again, no idea if it'll work for you but try it and see if your eating habits change. . 🍽️ 50% veggies, 25% protein, 25% whatever Basically, every other bite I eat is veggies. It's not uncommon to see me eating a handful of chips/bacon/whatever and chasing it with a handful of #vegatables. I know, it's weird, but trust me, when you find the right combination of food that complements each other in taste and nutrition, it's an after-thought.
