DAMN IT! ¥ I'm so pissed that I couldn't hit what I wanted to. I felt like a failure, I felt like a disappointment, I felt like someone was staring at me unsatisfied with my results. Everyone sees the accomplishment, everyone pays attention to the trophies, the less than 24 hour successes, the winnings. What are you practicing right now that is geared towards your dream? What are you doing on a daily basis in order to reach your form of success? Who are you when the going gets tough? ¥ Practice makes perfect, you have heard it every single day if you have ever played a sport. I'm not perfect, nor is anybody else that you meet in life. But the path towards that "perfection" is the most satisfying path one can take. I remember back when I was a kid playing Super Nintendo, I strived for perfection with each game. With every level that wasn't done correctly. Within the first 10 seconds I would press that magic RESET button, and start all over. ¥ With life it's a bit different. ¥ There is NO reset button. ¥ So what do you have to do? I didn't feel like it today. Let's be honest. Today I didn't feel motivated, I didn't feel inspired to do anything, I didn't even feel like writing this post. Seriously! But I remember what Eric Thomas said "Every day that you put off your dream you could be putting off 5 years, 10 years off of your dream because of a missed opportunity." Les Brown said "Shoot for the top because the bottom is overcrowded." Andy Frisella said "People say being successful is hard, you know what else is hard? Being broke as (expletive). So what hard do you want to choose, being successful or being broke as (expletive)?" Point is when you are down and out, when you don't "feel" like working, it is a test of your will. It is a test of who you are as a person and who you must become. No one feels like getting out of bed, no one feels like listening to someone motivate you, no one feels like facing their adversity every day. No one does! So the only way to separate yourself and become successful is to do the opposite. Let me tell you why Monday's and Friday's are my favorite days. On Monday, everyone is relaxed, coming off the weekend and only put in 25% of their grind. On Friday everyone prepares for the weekend and gives 25% of their grind. Those are the days to give 100% of yours. He had a very important position in his job and that his distraction was causing him to stumble. He could not take his eyes off of his distraction in life, and then he became tunnel-visioned on the wrong path in life. For those that know me real well, I HATE spiders. Any chance I'll see one I will kill it, I feel like each leg has a set of fangs on it...but God told me something different about this guy. I woke up at 5 am with him above my bed. So he was there while I was sleeping!! ¥ Normally I would smash this thing with a boot, but it was an incredible start of growth this morning. Got to face my fear and make him my pet ;) now I have to feed him crickets... ¥ What is your fear and how often do you face it instead of run away from it? What is the biggest upset if you do face it? Could a result leave you homeless, rejected, people leaving you? ¥ I pursued my business in Motorsports knowing full well that if I didn't do it right the first time me and my family would end up on the streets. And then my business didn't go well and decided to go a different direction. Did you see that?! We didn't end up homeless! ¥ I knew if I gave up completely then we would. If I just threw in the towel and said this is too hard, this is too difficult, and stopped altogether, then life would have been completely worse. ¥ Your worst fear is only bringing you closer to where you need to be in life. Good morning everyone, ¥ I hope your morning has started well. It was easier just to tag everyone interested in the community I am creating than to email individually. Feel free to tag others in this as well. Kuyashii is a Japanese term used for when someone tells you that you can't do something, and you get so frustrated to the point that you will prove them wrong. I have been a part of several communities where there was no purpose for the communities itself, but just more of advertising and selling to members within itself.....the community I want to create is a culmination of people that inspire each other, motivate each other to keep pushing, lead one another to different topics of discussion to better themselves, that sort of thing. The platform being used will be Facebook. The intended audience will mostly be entrepreneurs/success mindset people on an international level. On a daily basis, there will be posts from individuals on motivation and inspiration. That's where everyone will pitch in, but there will be guidelines to each posts such as 1 High definition photo along with 100-250 words that involve getting better. Motivation is one thing, but if there is no direction, then people will just go around aimlessly, hence the 100-250 word post. Things to avoid will be posts that are trying to sell products, features on Instagram, or anything along the lines of selling. This project I have taken on has led me to some pretty incredible people. Like @wolfpackmatic for example. When I read these words, it impacted me so much to the point that it made me think. ¥ What impossible am I shooting for?! What dream, what goal do I dare to strive towards that it makes people say "That will never work!" Only to complete it and have them be dumbfounded. Manoj Bhargova - CEO and President of 5 hour energy said "What is an expert? An expert is someone who is skillful and knowledgable of what was, I'm looking for what will be, I don't need experts." ¥ This day and age our goal must be to push towards new boundaries, new horizons. I heard somebody say "Gone are the days where we stop having moments of landing on the moon." BS!!! We are working towards landing on Mars, we just had someone within the past couple years touch the Marianas trench, we are having people rise to greatness and become successful from NOTHING!! You know you found your passion when time rolls by so fast that you're actually begging the clock not to. I feel this way about videography and Jiujitsu, I literally look at the clock and start this screaming episode inside of my head for time not to tick - tick - tick. I know that's not just me doing that. ¥ When you find your passion, you find hat your time is so valuable that every second you use MUST NOT BE WASTED. It's not a "I'm better than everyone kind of attitude, my time is better than yours so don't waste it" mentality, it's knowing that every second you don't use properly can and will lead you towards a direction that doesn't flow with what you REALLY need to do in life. ¥ Take this for example: -Working on what you love to do and getting lost in time vs. plopping on the couch after work, Netflix binging. I have done this countless times in the past until I realized, enough is enough, I not only want better for my life, but my family. And I'm going to give what I love to do everything I got in order to make that happen. ¥ What is your passion? And if you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Lately I have been asking people what drives them for success, what pushes them past their boundaries, what is their motivational quote. This quote right here from @francescamichaud really stuck out. It wasn't a quote you pull from Instagram, a motivational speaker, or something you get in an email, this is the raw truth from someone with a success mindset. ¥ Success is not about the money, the cars, the boats, the houses - those are all byproducts. Success is about an internal motivation, an internal trigger that says "I'm going to become successful NO MATTER the costs." And then going out and doing it. You saw my two step process in order to become successful: ¥ 1. Do the work 2. Get the results ¥ That's it! Plain and simple. Some of us just don't get it, but now is the time to gain traction, gain that consistency, and gain those results.
