Happy 2025 everybody! Similar to last year and previously, I’m using the mathematical model to make predictions on the driver lineups for th
🚨 New Article! 🚨 (It’s a big one)
Update on my F1 mathematical model, ranking the performances of the top drivers in every year in F1 history.
See why Verstappen and Alonso are considered the best F1 drivers of the modern age, regardless of the quality of the cars they’re given.
Hamilton’s season has been far from a disaster.
Interesting to look back at betting odds before the start of the season (after testing).
McLaren were considered plausible outsiders, with Pérez the 2nd most likely to win the championship. 🤔
Everyone thought Red Bull would walk it.

Average of points each driver needs to take off Verstappen each round to win the title:
Norris: 11.6
Leclerc: 16
Piastri: 21.4
Sainz: 27.8 (Still technically possible due to Sprints)
This is truly a hand dap for the ages.
Such a clean sound.
McLaren winning the Constructor’s Championship as a customer team would be a historic achievement.
Only one customer team has won it in the 21st century (and they subsequently become the works team next year).
The fact the best voice of endorsement they could get was Brad Pitt makes me less likely to buy this book.

Hamilton lapped faster than Russell for almost the entire Belgian Grand Prix.
Hamilton’s average lap time was half a second quicker than Russell’s in Spa.
In fact, discounting pit stops, there were only 2 laps in the entire race where Russell lapped quicker! Strategy is always key.
F1 Midseason Driver Rankings By Mathematical Model
Top 6 drivers, regardless of the car are:
6) Hamilton
5) Piastri
4) Sainz
3) Norris
2) Leclerc
1) Verstappen
Do you agree?
Using a mathematical model to rate every F1 driver by their performance level in 2024, regardless of the car they drive.
2010 F1 Driver Rankings From The Mathematical Model
2010 was Vettel's first championship, winning a five way title fight. Using a mathematical model, we rank every driver of the 2010 F1 season
