Huntr/x playing Terraria:
Has been playing since before 1.4, so remembers when they added replacing blocks and automatically opening doors (also cried for Muramasa when the nerfed it)
Goes between Ranged (her usual choice) and Melee (although she’s not insane and also carries Summoner weapons with her). She thinks that throwing weapons are mostly useless.
Vampire Knives, as you might expect, are her favorite weapons in the game, and she will make a Crimson world just to get them even if she is playing on a Corruption world.
Other than that, has no preference for either evil biome
Will take the time to make decent looking homes for the NPCs but nothing too fancy. She does try to get all the pylons for easier travel
Has been playing long enough that she mostly doesn’t need the wiki, and mostly uses it to see drop rates of certain items. Still gets jumpscared by new items that appear on the wiki (“What do you mean there’s something called a Shellphone now?”)
Will go out of her way to get Shroomite armor despite it being a pain in the ass to get the stuff to make Chlorophyte bars to begin with
Set up a Chlorophyte farm once that quickly got torn up by Mira. She didn’t speak to Mira for the rest of the night after that
Sings along to a lot of the area and boss themes, basically shouts the Plantera theme
Builds functional but not elaborate boss arenas. As soon as she’s done with theme though, she takes them down because they make the world look awful
Will summon a boss as a joke to fuck with her teammates (ask me about the Queen Bee story)
Will also summon a boss multiple times just to get whatever item she’s missing from them
If she’s playing multiplayer, she will try to evenly distribute life crystals depending on what level of health everyone is at. Same with life fruit
Once spent 6 hours doing the Angler’s quests just to get the Sextant. Not for the sake of making the Shell/Cellphone, but just so she could giggle at the word
Doesn’t mind doing a playthrough without the Ankh Shield, but will immediately change her mind about not going for it she gets knocked back one too many times
Has a few junk chests, but does have some labeled and organized chests
Farms a bit so that they have enough materials to make potions for boss fights
Insists on 100% the beastiary
Will try to find some very cute cosmetic gear to wear
Will only play if Zoey is playing
Hard Melee preference. Doesn’t even carry a Summon weapon on her
Was so excited to get the Zenith the first time she did
Does not bother building actual homes for NPCs, just builds those 1x9 things with the background walls and platforms for them to stay in. Also does not gaf about pylons
Has accidentally summoned bosses on several occasions and screamed when they showed up (ask me about the WoF incident). This includes one instance with Torch God
Likes Crimson a lot, mostly because of how fucked up looking it is
Once spent ten minutes trying to mine her way into the Jungle Temple. They hadn’t even beaten the Eye of Cthulu yet. Zoey was torn between laughing at how long she was trying for and being genuinely impressed she stayed alive for that long in the Underground Jungle at that stage of the game
Will go into boss fights without the proper gear and be shocked when doesn’t survive them
Hoards Life Crystals and Fruits
Was upset when she realized that while there are beds in Terraria, you can’t really put them next to each other like you can in Minecraft
Has not touched the wiki or talked to the Guide. Just goes wherever her heart takes her and does what she wants until it gets her to progress in the game
Did grind for the Beetle gear (even if it did accidentally get her put in the doghouse)
The biggest Accidental Bomber of the group. The amount of times they’ve had to rebuild their bases because Mira dropped some tnt is insane
Just throws shit into chests, much to Rumi and Zoey’s chagrin
Has the best Goblin Tinkerer luck
Will go out of her way to get entire sets of cosmetics just because Zoey showed her a photo of how cute they looked
Had never even heard of Terraria before Zoey got her to play it. Is the type of player that comes back after having one session of multiplayer to the second session saying that they “did a little bit of grinding between sessions”, only for their teammates to find out they went and got a fuck ton of gear that takes hours to get.
Was gonna finish out the trio and go for a Magic focus, but then Zoey told her about Summoner and now she’s extremely fixated on that class
Shouts “Go my scarabs!” every time she uses a whip to lock onto an enemy
As much as she is a DPS fanatic, her favorite weapon is the Optic Staff, because she loves how they’re just little versions of the Twins, and because she technically gets double the amount of summons with them
Speaking of being a DPS fiend, she has the training dummy set up so that she can test her DPS
Will build extremely elaborate homes for their NPCs in the biomes they love, and try to match the vibes of the home to the NPCs staying in them.
Thinks Corruption is neat
Knows all about Torch Luck and how to utilize to her advantage
Has the wiki open on a second monitor
Thinks cosmetics are a waste of time and money in game
Like Zoey, she’ll summon a boss to get what she needs from it multiple times, but she has better luck at this
Knows how to use hoiks??? Zoey was so confused how she learned that
Once rocked up to the base after a while of being away with the Guardian pet. When Zoey asked her if she made the rail arena to beat it, she was like “the what? no I just killed it”. Zoey was too stunned to speak
Bitter about their being no real Summoner armor that can be made with chlorophyte so she went through and did the entirety of Old One’s Army just to get better Summoning gear
Insists on getting the Shellphone, Ankh Charm, Celestial Emblem, and Terraspark Boots every time she plays a new world
All of her chests are extremely well organized and labeled.
Will go dead silent during boss fights because she is so locked the fuck in. If she’s playing in multiplayer this backfires because it means she is not talking to her teammates throughout the fight
Always has multiple health statues, heart lanterns, campfires, bast statues, etc. placed around her elaborately built boss arenas. Also has multiple different potions and food items ready to distribute before the start of a fight
Got distracted the first time she fought Empress of Light because of hot she is
