WOW! It's been a while from beauty blogging because... I am a resident of Boston, MA now and a beauty advisor for Benefit Cosmetics, again. Working for Benefit in the big New York City to now the new Newbury St boutique! So I am absolutely obsessed and this product is flying off the shelfs; Big Easy. Oil free, SPH of 35 and a liquid to a powder formulation. Ive noticed it really helps balance out redness and fills in your pores on your face, who doesn't want that!? It comes in 6 different shades and 1-3 has a nice yellowish/matte undertone and as you move to the 3-6 shades are more warmish tones. I recommend every girl tries this product, it's a lighter feeling than foundation on your skin which a lot of people are falling in love with. Try it @ Sephora, Benefit, Ulta and even Macys! Retails for about 38 USD!

These are my favorite brow sets for blondes! I find that with my light colored hair it's hard to find the right brow sets since many bring off a reddish tone, which I for one do not want. Anastasia DIPBROW in blonde, it's relatively new and is selling out! It has a bit of a wax feeling and will need to be applied by a brush of corse. I also really love FLING pencil by MAC, nice and quick to apply with no brush. It truly is the easiest application with a pencil for people just starting out with brows. Another favorite is from the queen of all brows Benefit Cosmetics, Brow Zings has 2 brushes and tweezers. It also include a wax and a powder, which when using both really sets in the product. Lastly, Maybelline Dirty Blonde brow pencil which has a plastic looking brush on the end which will help making your brows look the most natural looking. Brows are the thing now, reshaping and putting an arch and framing your face. Brows can make the difference in the world but especially for us blondes, it is almost always needed!

Do you do your face before you start on your eyes doing make up? Most people do and many people have asked me especially applying a dark smokey eye of how to not get fallings onto your perfectly done face!? The answer is simple and not expensive. You have 2 options, finding a high pigmented shadow that won't have any falling out whatsoever (I found Too Faced is the best for no falling out) or you can try Shadow Shields. Shadow Shields are easy to use and you can still use those high pigmented shadows that tend to have that falling out without getting it all over your face! I love them and recommend this to day-to-day use who love a dark eye, for the night look of corse and for all you fellow artists out there! It has come to my attention that many woman use the Neutrogena make up remover wipes to not only remove make up but thinking it's also a cleanser too. The make up wipes are nourishing too but do not completely remove the make up in your pores. This could be the reason for break out's and oily skin. Continue to use these wipes but you also need a cleanser to go into your pores and clean out the access make up left. My favorite skin care line right now is Shiseido, the starter kit with make up remover, a cleanser, a toner and night moisturizer. When applying the cleanser do not just throw it on your face with your palms. Try the Clarisonic! I swear by it! It goes deep down into your pores using a vibrating motion. Or use a face cloth with ripples on it and circle it all around your face. Then use a toner; at first using the toner I was skeptical, but it's the best part! It makes the skin feel baby smooth and helps the pores. Then apply your moisturizer. If you want that young looking skin without botox trust me on this ritual!

Alright, so the Urban Decay famous Naked 3 Palette is out! It was sold out in many locations for a while since the holiday season too. Now that I have finally taken a look at these colors, these are unlike the other Naked palettes by far. There is a rose gold feel to this palette so pink undertones and very warm undertones. I will tell you all my honest opinion on this palette. I have fair skin so using a rose undertoned shadow will not look like the advertisements for this product making people believe everyone can use it. I would not recommend this palette to a fair skinned person especially with freckles. People with bronze toned/ tan skin look great with the rose and warm undertoned shadows that this palette has to offer. Also, people with darker skin tones, like I had said about the fair skin; you can use some of the shadows but would not recommend this palette for everyone! The retail of this product goes for 52 USD.

The Naked Flushed has been out for a while now and I have finally tried it. I love this for high lighting, a bronzer and a blush. I love also putting all the colors together and apply diagonally to my cheek bone. It will also last you a very long time, great compact container too. Rated a 4.5 out of 5 on Ulta online too, a lot of people are VERY pleased with this product. I'd recommend trying it out, at Ulta and Sephora! For 30 USD!

Did you know there are some items from Sephora that are 10$ and amazing? This is the best time of year to get mini make up for your kits to try out. Sometimes if your not positive about a product and you don't feel comfortable spending 30$ on a primer or ect. Stocking stuffers, Iv'e found some AMAZING products for 10$-20$ of mini hair sprays or makeup for lips, eyes, moisturizer's ect. Go check them out! Anastasia Beverly Hill's isn't just about the brows people. A 40 USD refillable Contour Kit is now sold out! The new Contour kit will be back Christmas Week. To refill them will be 14 USD. As soon as this kit goes back on sale I will be 100% purchasing this kit for myself and kit.

If you want to get into wedding make up artistry defiantly look into Temptu! I have the Temptu S-One compressor which you can control the air pressure aka how fast you want your product to come out and as artists, we all like it differently. I also have the SP-35 airbrush. I defiantly recommend getting the SP-35 airbrush vs the SP-55, there is a very big differece and only a bit extra money for the SP-35. The product would not push out and I went to NYC myself to replace it with the SP-35. Kits that are 85 USD are down to 55 USD for this week! The Holiday Day 2 deal is what I had purchased to start off with and am in love with the products. It's very light weight and great for natural looking without that cakey look. You'll notice using this kit with different skin tones that you will use 4#, 5# and 6# the most. Remember to use the primer before airbrushing in the T-Zone (has a white tone to it). Clean your brush out while changing different toned clients with the Temptu cleaner (Looks clear in the bottle). If you're looking to get into airbrushing, check out Temptu which has classes in NYC and LA, look online to book the classes because they fill up fast!

The new Lollitint from Benefit Cosmetics is here! I previously blogged about Benefit's tints before, I love these tints especially after working for Benefit. Tints are for cheeks and lips, they come in 4 different colors. Lollitint is the newest tint. It's a candy-orhcid tinted lip & cheek stain. It is a MUST try. It's awesome for lips because it give it a natural pop of color and you can also eat with the stain and just apply lipgloss over it to finish your look. When you apply the stain on your lips, be careful using your fingers because it will stain your finger tips too. When I showed customers this stain product, I had them coming back for not only more but the different tones! Go check out the new Lollitint guys!

I recently received an amazing opportunity to go down to South Beach, Miami for an amazing Pro Artisty Weekend with Make Up Forever! With over 16 hours of eduction with this amazing kit and connecting with some amazing artists. I received these products from MUFE (which is why I love them) Make Up Forever is an incredible all around company, I am very proud to represent almost my entire kit is all MUFE. When it comes down to the education, customer service and the products, I couldn't ask for anything more. I received the new Pro Finished with 3 different shades. I was very pleased with the shades MUFE gave me. Pro Finish 120# 155#173#! These shades are perfect for highlighting and contouring almost all skin tones, I end up using at least 1 of them. The Pro Finish can be used wet AND dry. Only add a bit of water to your brush, a little! The more water you add, the less coverage you will have. Another reminder is DO NOT touch these foundations with your fingers, the formulation is very delicate, it will ruin your entire foundation. Using it dry is just as amazing! Make sure when using it wet to dry that it is completely dry before you put your brush in the foundation. Also with this kind of delicate foundation, do not put cleaner in it to sanitize. Did everyone else love Black Friday as much as I did? I purchased products for myself, friends and my kit! All these products were 10$ EACH. Better Than Sex, one of my favorite mascaras was in a mini Amazing Eyes Set from Too Faced and a small Perfect Black eyeliner. Another product was Tartes High Performance Naturals kit; That came with mini's of Pure Maracuja oil, Amazonian Clay finishing powder and lights camera action 4 in 1 mascara; All this for 10$ again! I also got a Fab Star Duo of Face Cleanser and Ultra repair cream for dry faces. I decided to get this product because it's fragrance free and very gentle, always have cleansers in your kits artists! Stila also had an amazing eye shadow set, beautiful natural brown toned colors, I got a total of 3 cause I loved them so much. When I went back to Sephora later on Black Friday there was also a Make Up Forever product, 10$ for shadow sticks!!! Originally 20$ each and I got 2 for 10$. The shadow sticks are from the aqua collection, aka no primer needed it's that incredible. Bare Essentials too and The Art of shaving kit, for my male clients! THANK YOU SEPHORA!

My weekend in South Beach, Miami has came to an end unfortunatly. I have learned so much with the Pro Artistry weekend. The number one thing an artist needs to know and us human beings forget, is you are always learning. There is always something new in the industry weather it's a style or new techniques. Here are some of the many pointers iv'e learned and reminder to not forget while doing make up. Thank you Make Up Forever for an amazing weekend!

-When photographer is using a micro lenses and close up photos watch the mascara, be careful of clumps. 

-Be aware of never forgetting the chin/jawline area for contouring. 

-While using glitter for body painting or editorial look, put glitter in a hair color bottle for more preciseness. 

-Reminder, prepping is the base for make up applications to always have; Cleansers including an oil free one, basic and a gentle cleanser. Also have lip prepping's like lip exploit/ lip scrub. 

-Ears to boobs when applying make up, it goes beyond the face in some photo's. 

-When blending, tap the product on vs painting the face. By using a painting motion is creates lines.
