Jester or Knight

I remember somewhere in the comments that I commented in the past that MC and their kid would dressed up as one of the KoM characters, but I forgot where it was.

Since we only saw Jestyn and Knighters' model sheet, I decided to dress up my NightGuard here as Jestyn and Knighter.

I drew him a mask for his Jestyn costume to cover his beard. You may not see it, but he is smiling here. Can you imagine Jestyn having a beard? 😆

I hoped I got Knighter's armor right. Nightguard looks pretty good in the armor.

I can't wait to see what Wizzy and Preiston look like in day 2 so I can dress him up as one.

He looks fantastic in both!! NightGuard is multifaceted, and able to pull off being a knight or a jester with ease! The beard goes especially well with Knighter's outfit ;) it gives him a rugged look!

OKAY Riddle me this riddle me this THINK ABOUT IT EVEN how would your puppet oc's react to someone cosplaying as them? (This is probably set during when the theatre was still open and doing shows!!) maybe mid or before show they notice someone coming to them as a cosplay and theyre all giggle and happy and saying theyre a huge fun thats doing it for the love of the game!!

Ill let you decide on the quality of the cosplay, maybe its a kid doing it, and the quality is ass and their outfit is made up of common clothes they probably wear that just so happens to be the same color of your oc's shirt so it works

or its someone who really locked in and custom made, put on face paint or makeup, stylized a wig and made accessories!! Originally it was just gonna be the latter where its an eerily high quality cosplayer but the concept of a kid just trying their best sounded cute to me too <3

Musketio is BEYOND delighted to see anyone dress up like him! Be they young or old, or whatever amount of effort was put into it. He will immediately play into it and treat them like another musketeer stopping by for a visit.

He will put in double the effort for children (and getting a little misty eyed too, but shhhhh...), going all in for the dramatics and posturing. He'll even try roping other nearby puppets into it if he thinks they'd be good sports about it.

Do you think you can draw crownus pretty please 😊

Very bold question to ask but you asked nicely so I'll indulge Honestly I was postponing designing my Crownus for a while now, mostly because I was intimidated by the task, so this kind of gave me some external motivation to actually do it Some design-related rambling below

My design was kind of inspired by few things @an0nymous-c 's depiction of him (post1, post2) with the talons and the hood and @unlessyouwant 's design concepts as they led me to look into the motif of the King in Yellow from both the novel and also later got inspired from that one Minecraft ARG and its Yellow King xD Mostly bc I always thought of 3 colours when thinking of Crownus: black, red, and yellow/gold. Also was thinking about King Midas a bit. Honestly, I originally wanted to make him much more yellow, but eventually I decided to make him... kind of blank. It's intentional that I didn't give him any real colour beyond the yellow elements of his jewellery and the crown. When I think of Crownus, I picture this almost faceless figure. Not because he literally had no face, but because, with enough time passing in the theatre, I like to imagine that most puppets simply wanted to forget it. Forget him. But some things are harder to forget. Especially that smile. Once, it might have been seen as calm and reassuring. Something that made you feel safe in the presence of your King. But with time, that same smile became tainted by the knowledge of what was hiding behind it. I like to imagine that every puppet whose mind was severely scarred by Crownus might try to erase his face in their own way. A scribble. A shadow. A black square. Anything that could make the memory a little less vivid whenever he appeared in their mind. But I think there would be one thing that would be much harder to erase: the gold. Those yellow-golden ornaments must have caught the eye no matter what the memory attached to them was. You might forget what colour his hair was. You might force yourself to forget the colour of his scarf or royal robes. But the gold would stay. The golden ornaments swaying as he walked toward you. The polished golden soles of his boots as you knelt before him. The gleam of golden talons as they caught your chin and forced you to look at him. And of course, the shine of the crown sitting upon the head of your tormentor Your friend. Your saviour. Your true and only King. ===== Here I left him uncensoured as I wanted to show a little bit more of his features This is just a concept design I'd say as I might change or add somethings to it, we'll see. He came out gorgeous 🥰🥰 beautiful and exactly what you'd imagine when you think of royalty, but mysterious with a hint of dread. I think the vagueness was the right way to go. It suits his current role in the story and with how so many ocs in the fandom view him in their stories. The fur on the cape is the cherry on top!!

I think he looks DELIGHTFUL!! Look at his smile and his luscious locks! The elegant feather in his hat! That is a musketeer who is proud of his job! You even sketched him in green! 💚💚💚

Luci looks just as wonderful too! The mask has such a mischievous look, and his braid came out so thick and full! The folds and draping of his cape came out really nice too ^^

What ho! The others seem to be starting a trend, so I will join in :P What are NightGuard's honest opinions of Musketio? 💚🧡💜

NightGuard thinks of Musketio is loyal, friendly, and ambitious when it comes bringing vandals to justice and helping other puppets in need. Though he can see him getting into traps and has to help him get out of there. NightGuard sometimes worried Musketio as he tends to hide some topics he doesn't want to open up. He is very patient. He doesn't force him to tell him anything. Musketio will eventually tell him his troubles if he is willing to.
