#undertale au #gorgeous choice of flowers #for Nightmare: hydrangeas #for Dream: datura #i love that both flowers are usually white but are tinted in their colors #pale purple hydrangeas can easily be read as blue #purple for wealth and royalty #and blue for regret and apology #datura on the other hand #is almost always white #and has so many names based on the fact that it’s extremely poisonous #devil’s trumpet #hell’s bells #mad apple #and moonflower of course #because something so poisonous is still so beautiful #attempting to eat any part of datura will give you a psychotic trip so bad that if you ever manage to make it through that trip and sober u #you would wish you’d rather be dead as your body tries to recover from ingesting poison the ways it usually does #like psychosis and seizures and the inability to recognize reality as you’re literally hallucinating while dying #hydrangea are poisonous too #just not on datura’s batshit insane level #love the symbolism for both swap Nightmare and Dream

#pretty neat chart #i’d say my artstyle’s a blend of stylistic choices #keeping close to canon classic porportions #but defining certain features with sharp lines and curvatures akin to human anatomy #i find it hilarious to say that my style might fall under ‘gigachad’ just because i’m trying to capture those details #sometimes only planes of soft shading on the skull can convey the shape that i’m trying to draw #it’s a whole process #it’s good to try out different styles and experiment with what you like to draw the most
