"No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood."
(78:35)
Here
remembering death should be the only force that should keep you moving and urge you to better yourself with every passing day. This dunya is a little cloud that will eventually fade away. But what you do here remains and makes all the difference to what awaits you in Akhirah
yearn to meet Allaah ya muslim, and prepare your baggage, for the days of dunya are short and in jannah will be your final meeting
“I’ve never dealt with anything more difficult than my soul; sometimes I lose, sometimes I win.”
— Sufyān ath-Thawrī | Sīyar ‘A'lam al-Nubāla, (v. 7, p. 258)
“Once you make a decision, put your trust in Allah. Surely Allah loves those who trust in Him.”

The rain in Mecca
Ibn al-Jawzī said about the dunya:
“Know that time never remains in one condition — as Allah, the Almighty, said: ‘And such are the days We alternate among the people.’ [Āl ʿImrān: 140]
At times there is poverty, and at times wealth; at times honor, and at times humiliation; at times friends rejoice, and at times enemies gloat.
So the truly happy one is he who clings to one constant principle in all circumstances — the fear (taqwā) of Allah, the Almighty. Therefore, hold fast to taqwā in every situation, for then you will see in hardship nothing but ease, and in sickness, nothing but well-being.”
Ṣayd al-Khāṭir (pp. 164–165)
Macca
When the dunya tires you and you long for a break, remind yourself of the life to come, of the delights of paradise Insha’Allah. Of the never ending bliss, expanses beyond measure, comfort like no other, peace in its essence and above all - the presence of your Lord, The Most High!
Are you working towards this?
For man will attain that for which he strove..
وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ
And remember your Lord within yourself
Al-A'raf 7:205
Praise be to Allah for every blessing we’ve grown accustomed to and forgotten to be grateful for

“من أعظم الأشياء ضررًا على العبد بطالتُه وفراغه، فإنَّ النَّفس لا تقعد فارغة، بل إن لم يشغلها بما ينفعها شَغَلَتْه بما يضرّه ولابدّ”.
“One of the most harmful things for a person is idleness and free time. The soul never stays empty—if you do not occupy it with what benefits it, it will occupy you with what harms you—inevitably.”
ـ ابن القيم | طريق الهجرتين (٢/٥٩٧)
