I worked really hard on this drawing... I tried to include a lot of things that remind me of him, and took inspiration from his solo song. I think it's the most ambitious drawing I've done so far.
And it's made with all the love my heart and soul have for him.
I'm quite proud of how it came out. I hope my feelings conveyed by this drawing reach him somehow.
At 00:00 on my timezone I'll post something else with some words I'd like to dedicate him. But for now:
the sound of the first bell for lunch was one of your least favorite times of the day. no matter what you were doing or where you were, whenever you heard that chime go off, you knew that the next hour or three would be filled with real hard manual labor. most tasks of being a janitor weren't the worst thing to deal with. they were mindless enough that you could zone out and sing a little tune back from your world to wile away the hours.
Lunch time was different though. putting a bunch of students, boy students, together in one place was hard enough but a bunch of savanaclaw boys was even harder.
you had unceremoniously began ranking each dorm with how their students acted and how they treated you. pomefiore students weren't too bad if you ignored what they were saying. they usually pretended you didn't exist which was preferable and they were usually too aware of what they were wearing and how they looked to make any real messes. their second in command or whatever has stricken up a few conversations with you, nice enough guy that he was. when you heard him speak for the first time, you had practically dropped your cleaning supplies in surprise.
heartslabyul students were also pretty easy to deal with. they use to be a wild card with how they would act but ever since an incident happened (something something over blot? you had no idea, just that you weren't tasked to clean it.) there was a mass exodus of students transferring to other dorms. the few that were left were the studious ones, the ones that didn't mind the structure and rules of the dorm or they were one of the poor sods whose applications for moving had been denied.
octavinelle students at least knew physical labor since most of them have been (forced) tasked to work at their dorms little restaurant thingy. every so often you'd see a student walking around with a ridiculous anemone sprouting out of their head like a pikmin. when it made a little sound, they even all rounded up like the little guys! you would've felt bad for them if you didn't find it as funny as you did.
scarabia students weren't too bad but by the seven they were loud. especially their housewarden. sweet kid, but you had a soft spot for his second in command. he was one of the few students who acknowledged your presence even if it was just a catching of the eye or a subtle nod of his head. judging by how much his friend threw at him, you'd think he at least could sympathize with you.
ignihyde students were an enigma. they were rare to begin with but most of them would just eat and scurry off back to their dorms. they didn't make much of a mess besides the occasional spilled soda or spicy chip dust residue. they were a very clean lot besides. probably needed to be with how much equipment they handle in their dorm.
diasomnia students were Fine. there was a weird hierarchy going on in their dorm. some of the fae and half fae students weren't the most pleasant same aged peers to get along with, particularly the green haired little twerp that hung around your darling friend hornton, but most of them pretending you weren't around. two of them had introduced themselves to you though. their vice housewarden, lilia, and a pretty silver haired boy... named silver. silver in particular was someone you had gotten close, helping him move from classroom to the next when needed because of his injury.
somehow, the exact reason unknown to you, silver had gotten hurt during a spelldrive tournament when a mass stampede of students and pedestrians had all of a sudden fallen in to a state of panic. silver had done his best to calm the crowd and safely get them to disperse but, in the struggle, had broken his arm. diasomnia had to back out last minute due to the injured member and for the first time in several years, savanaclaw had won the spelldrive tournament.

they were your least favorite students to deal with. their dorm worked under a strict hierarchy, carnivores on top and herbivores at the bottom and you were the herbivoriest herbivore that had ever existed. they were the ones who would make eye contact with you and poorly throw their lunch in the trash and missing by a wide margin, getting their nasty leftovers all over the floor. they were the ones that actually touched you.
"and what are you going to do about it, janitor?"
you weren't going to do anything. you just glared at the freshman as he tried to make himself look even a smidgen more intimidating. you might've even been a little worried if this little brat wasn't trying to make himself look cooler then he was. this kid was bottom of the barrel, lowest rung on the ladder but he thought you were even lower.
"what? got nothing to say? did that little monster you drag around eat your tongue or something?" he grinned, inching closer and closer to you while flashing his canines at you. he even had the audacity to reach forward and make a grab for your broom as his fellow freshman cheered him on. "come on, little janitor. you don't belong here, you don't even deserve to be licking up our messes. why don't you just go home and—"
you swiftly pulled away, drew back your leg, and slammed your knee in to the boys pelvis. you ignored his sharp gasp of air as he dropped to the ground like he was weightless and against every fiber of your being telling you to run away and hide, your body told you to keep going. you've had enough of this. every single snide remark, icy stare and bullying you've dealt with since arriving in this stupid fucking world just bubbled up in side of you until it burst open.
you hit him with your broom over and over.
"You think I want to stay here cleaning up after some asshole like you?! you think I like having to live here?! you think I don't want to be home?! I hate it here! I hate it here! I hate all of you! I want to go home!!"
you don't know what happened after that. you can only vaguely remember a student pulling you off of him and throwing your broom to the side, far away from either of you.
"breathe." The one holding you commanded, arms wrapped tight around your own. you struggled still, tears now freely flowing but the stranger holding you back pulled even tighter, his grip even stronger "breathe."
"leona—!" the freshman breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of his housewarden holding you back but nobody moved to help him up. he looked around for a moment, almost expecting others to come rallying to his defense but scrambled up on to his feet when nobody came.
Leona passed your limp body over to another beastman, a wolf by the looks of it, judging by the ears and fluffy tail and crossed his arms before sliding his gaze back to the one looking up at him expectantly. his eyebrows were furrowed in annoyance, as if this whole thing was a bother, "what made you think it was a smart idea to attack a staff member?"
"huh?"
Leona was obviously not impressed by the boy's confused stare and let out a huge sigh, a hand pressed to his forehead as if he was the only one with any sort of brain in this whole auditorium, "a staff member, idiot."
you didn't stay long enough to hear the rest of the conversation, having been escorted back to your dorm by the wolf beastman but judging by your bully's sheepish expression and leona's growing annoyance, you could at least rest easy knowing he was being verbally smacked down even more.
the wolf beastman looked almost sheepish once you actually thought about acknowledging his presence. he seemed almost embarrassed.
"leona will make sure he's taken care of." he assured you while he brought his hand up and ran it through his hair, "I uh... I also should have been keeping a better eye on him, seeing as we're both freshmen and savanaclaw students. we have a bad enough name after the spelldrive tournament. don't need the other dorms to add to it by hearing we're also harassing staff."
you only sort of nodded, hearing half of what he was saying since your bour body was still thrumming with nerves. "ah.. mm." You opened your front door and chose to ignore the sound of the doorknob rolling out of its socket and falling to the dilapidated wooden floor and kept looking at him.
"anyways, I'll uh," he didn't really know what to say but continued, "I'll see you around?"

Who had been sailing the seven seas with his crew for quite a long time no, as expected - being immune to magic had certainly been a major help.
Who was the one steering the ship during a particularly turbulent storm, waves crashing into each other, sending a few of ship’s goods into the dark abyss of the sea, before a strange humming sound reached his sharp ears - hm?
Who looked down to see you, a mermaid, with shimmery scales and a sickeningly serene smile, arms outstretched and wide, singing a… lullaby?
Who turned to see each of his crew members seemingly possessed, taking long strides to the edge of the boat, eyes empty and hollow, all ignoring his shouts of protest to cover their ears already, Sevens above - a siren.
Who decided the best course of action for you to shut your trap and to save his men from going overboard was to hurl a chest filled with gold to your head, and it was rather success - if not for the fact that this agitated you so much that the two of you engaged in a verbal fight for the following twenty minutes, with Leona get irritated soon after and chucking another chest at you, causing the argument to escalate further.
Who found himself begrudgingly talking to you more after he found out that it was you causing the stormy waves, though it always ended up with the two of you bickering more than negotiating for you to stop making the weather terrible.
Who, oddly enough, began to become… fond, of your presence, ‘keeping watch of the ship’ late at night, despite the fact that practically the entire crew already knew that their sleazy captain just wanted an excuse to bicker with you <333 (“Shishishi, not slick at all, Cap’an Leona.”)
Who was the one who ordered the crew to lift you up from the sea when you were clearly hurt, in spite of some of the crew’s fervent protests against allowing a siren on board - snarling at them to shut their traps, and to call for the ship’s doctor.
Who sat by your bedside daily, offering you much less venomous arguments and more debates to bid your time stuck in the ship’s infirmary, grinning as he taught you how to play chess, pleasantly surprised when you beat him for the very first time - “Don’t get too cocky now, fishbrain.”
Who sat by the deck for a long time as you swam away, fully healed, and no longer interested in keeping him and his crew captive - huh. Took long enough. (And if any of his crew questioned why he sat there, watching the waves crash into each other for so long, they’d be met with nothing but silence, his eyes never drifting away from the spot you used to sit at.)
Pirate Leona who’d always drifted from one place to another in his voyage, yet simply couldn’t bear to stay away from the part of the sea where he’d met you for too long, always visiting every month or so, waiting for the arrival of that irritating fishbrain to come back - his patience was wearing thin now, so you’d better make that trip back, quick ;)

Can I have a Request about Monkey King Reborn Wukong x Tall Female Demon reader, she's gentle, soft-spoken and kind demon. She met the crew during a heavy rain, she invited them in but of course because she's a demon they can't trust her. But she explained she's not interested eating the monk so they accepted the invitation but the disciples keeping eye on her just to make sure. Sooner or later they'll get her trust, especially the monkey king himself 😏

You happened to hear them yelling about the sudden change in weather and seeing them trying to find shelter. So, being the kind demon you were, you called out to them and offered them a place in your home. They decide to take it, but are very wary of you, other than Tang Sanzang, who's thankful. You allow them to stay however long they need to, since your home has plenty of room along with the rain seeking to stay for a while. The monk accepts, much to the displeasure of Sun Wukong.
While Zhu Bajie's already fawning over you and Sha Wujing trusts the monk judgement, this grumpy monkey is the only one with common sense to be wary. He's shown to be the most cautious, so of course, he's gonna keep a close eye on you. While picking rooms and clothes for them, he's checking for anything dangerous, but finds nothing so far.
During lunch, he notices that you've got plenty of food that specifically pertains to them and Tang Sanzang, so he questions you. You explain that there's been a lot of monks and non-meat eaters heading your way, so you had other food in advance. Wukong not so subtly asks about the Golden Cicada, but you tell them that you're not into fighting or immortality, but instead, wished to live a nice, tranquil life.
Of course, Monkey King SLOWLY warms up to you. He's had demons go so far just to be able to trick them and kidnap their master, so he'll be extra guarded! Until he sees that...not once have you taken the time to get Tang Sanzang alone or spin a 'woe is me' tale to make them feel bad for you. You're just vibing and doing your own thing, tending to your little fruit and veggie garden, doing your own hobbies, helping the others out when they need it.
Your "disgustingly" as Monkey King would put it kind personality helps your case. Not once has he seen you blow up at anyone, and you always speak in such a calm and soft manner. Always willing to lend a hand and help someone out. Even to him, the being who didn't trust you- It was a weird feeling to him. Your kindness being directed towards him made him feel...warm.
And it isn't until after his initial weariness that he notices how tall you are. Like, yeah, demons are usually taller than humans, but you're...really tall. No wonder the roof seemed higher than usual. And because of the house structure, people usually ask you to get something from a higher shelf, which you're happy to help with. Zhu Bajie does it the most, and it urks the monkey more than he'd like it to.
Seeing that, Wukong finally accepts that, okay, you're not a bad demon, and watching you take care of him and the others has you falling in his good graces. You complimenting his skills also boosts his ego, much to the chagrin to Zhu Bajie, and then they're both showing off. Off course, Tang Sanzang apologizes, but you're happy to have them around.
Let's say that another demon ends up staying at your home, and finds out about Tang Sanzang. They're quick to devise a plan and ambush the monk, but you're there to rescue him, and boy do you look pissed. You've got your hand around their neck, staring them down before telling them to "Get out of my house." And Wukong's just kinda like- 👁👄👁 That was kinda hot-
You're apologizing over and over to the monk, becoming soft spoken and shy once again, but he's quick to accept your apology. Sha Wujing is quick to ask about your switch, and you simply state that "I said I didn't WANT to fight, but I never said I didn't know HOW to. I just don't like using violence, especially when it unnecessary." You've officially won the monk over. Finally! Someone who understands that violence isn't everything!
Wukong, on the other hand, wants to see more. He's prodding for you to train with him, and after a little while, you give in. It's a daily thing becomes something he looks forward to. Sometimes it turns into rants on how annoying Zhu Bajie can be and how he has to carry the whole team, with you giving him pieces of advice.
He'll start following you around-Heck! He'll even help you out, but it's mainly so you can compliment him. Of course, Zhu Bajie notices and teases the poor monkey about how soft he's gone. He's going to deny it each and everytime, making excuses that you we're bored without him or that you NEEDED his help. It causes so many fights between the two.
He'll start to wonder how you'll react when they leave. Will you be sad? Will you cry? Will you be sad for everyone leaving? Or will those tears be just for him? He's not really sure how you feel about him, but he's sure you're smitten with him. What, with the way you look at him and blush in his presence-
And he's absolutely right! A lot of people would be mad at him for interrogating them, but you knew he was just trying to protect the monk. And he started becoming nicer to you, helping you out, even talking to you for long periods of time! His attractive voice and quick touches has you melting each and every time.
You become upset, knowing that he'll have to leave as soon as the rain let's up. You wished that you could go and run off with him, but you had to stay take care of your home. Of course, the others were nice company too! But Wukong was different... You both spent the most time together, getting to know one another... Even so, you had to send them off with a smile! No tears when they leave!
So when the rain stops and allows them the chance to continue their journey, you expect a simple goodbye. But Wukong comes up to you and states that he's gonna come back for you, so you'll have to be here when he arrives. You're shocked, but welcome his words with happy tears. "Just be sure to come back safe and sound. That's all I ask." And with that promise, he goes off, hoping to finish the journey quicker so he can come back and see you.
