This holiday Season our Sales and graphics teams upcycled to make this beautiful tree!! We used Cardboard tubes that banner material is delivered on, wrapped them in green vinyl from our scrap bin, laser cut left over acrylic into snowflakes for decorations, and put more vinyl on left over coroplast for the star! We hung it off our Truss system which is always in our store room. The boxes were from a previous display and the bells were left over from a marketing project!

The process of creating a braille sign is a long one but it is an important one.

Braille signs are typically made out of acrylic, the visual alphabet can be printed on but is typically engraved or textile (which is glued adhered on top). The Braille holes are created using a special font and have the be the perfect size. A machine is calibrated to make the holes the exact size and depth needed. The last step is that a person, using a special pen places the beads in the hole. The beads are clear and plastic, it takes a great deal of force to ensure that they will remain in the hole.
